So I decided to give Amore Italian Ristorante a try, after a friend suggested it and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was flavorful didn’t need any additional seasoning and that cream sauce was delicious. I had Meatballs "Polpette" with Marinara for my appetizer. For my main course I had Frutti di Mare which was shrimp, chopped clams, calamari, and scallops sautéed in a white wine cream sauce served over angel hair pasta. For dessert I went with Tiramisu which was lady finger cookies soaked in coffee liqueur with a mascarpone cream filling topped with cocoa and a chocolate drizzle. I would definitely recommend giving them a try when you’re in the area!
I got the Cajun Pasta di Mare, season is good, nice spice level, but a bit over the salty side. Calamari Fritti appetizer wasn't crispy with the tomato sauce combo is weird, I find it dipping the Cajun pasta sauce much better. The garlic bread was pretty good! Bathroom needs upgrade.
Our experience was great. Food was delicious. Fresh salad, warm gooey cheese bread and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entrees, the Alfredo and Marinara sauces were both delicious. I personally ate a pizza and the dough was fresh and had a nice chewy bite. The building is an old historic home and offers lots of charm. If you are in the area I definitely suggest stopping in. Next time I will be trying desserts!
I was passing through and got a hotel near the highway. I checked restaurants near me in Google map. I really didn’t want fast food or a chain. I found this restaurant and the woman at the front desk of the hotel said the food was great.I chose to sit on the large, wrap around front porch. It was just about sunset, there was a slightly cool breeze and the car traffic was very mild and not intrusive. The staff was amazing from the first moment to the last. Very accommodating and attentive. The hot rolls came out first. They were INCREDIBLE!! I ordered salmon and it was very nice. What a very unexpected great experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you haven’t tried this food then you’re missing out. Davy and I tried it yesterday and it was so fresh and good. Quality ingredients and you can tell the difference. We will be eating here again!
A delightful dining experience. The meatballs were moist and very tender in a tangy sauce. The shrimp Alfredo and chicken Alfredo were quite tasty. The veal parm was tender and had great flavor as did the veal marsala. Our server Priscilla was very nice and checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a great place to eat!
We ate dinner here Saturday night and it was amazing. We travel all over and Im from south Texas and this was by far one of the best authentic Italian restaurants we’ve ever ate at. We ordered meat lasagna, fried ravioli, shrimp Ricotta and just some butter noodles for our toddler. Everything was immaculate! Hot and loaded with flavor! The waitress was as sweet as can be. She was helpful also. Said she’d been there three months but she was as helpful as someone who’d been working there for a long time. The bathrooms were clean and the environment was set very calming and sweet. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Mississippi
Absolutely THE best Italian Food I’ve ever eaten! The rolls were unbelievably yummy! The service was excellent; Kay was exceptional- making sure everything was perfect for us throughout the meal. Lots of leftovers and the piece of cake
The atmosphere is pretty cool, feels like eating lunch at your Italian Mama’s house. In and old but chic house. The food is delicious with large portions. I had the speghetti “Tutto Carne,” (hopefully I spelled that right) it had three different meats (meatballs, meat sauce, and sausage)in it and large chunks of mushrooms. I’m not a mushroom person so they were easy to take out, my fiancé loved them. If they ask if you want bread say yes it’s really good. With all that being said the service could have been better. We were greeted and quickly had drinks but we sat for 10 min waiting on our appetizer with no bread and our glasses were now empty. Another server brought refills finally but then it took forever to get our food and not a word from our server. Finally we got our food and bread. Refills were still slim. All in all it was a great place to eat and I’d recommend it to anyone and I’ll def go back.
Excellent food and service every time we go!
