I am a garlic lover; so I always ask for extra roasted garlic anywhere I go. Most places are so stingy with the amount they’ll put on a pizza, but not Sal&Mookie’s! They exceeded my expectations and I can genuinely say, as someone who has lived in NY before. This is the best pizza I have ever tasted in my entire life! Highly recommend anyone go try this place and this location especially!
Sal and Mookies Madison is the absolute best pizza place in the area. Convenient location and family atmosphere. Our server, Rachel, was attentive and helpful. The menu is full of delicious options. 5/5! Would recommend!!
Ordered a pizza, Philly cheese steak and Greek salad to go. Service was very friendly and quick. Nice clean, hip decor. 5 stars for all that.The food however, wasn't. The pizza was good with fresh toppings but very floppy. The Greek salad wasn't a Greek salad but a bland blend of romaine lettuce and a few olives, tomatoes and feta with a dressing that was nowhere near Greek dressings I've had at other places. The Philly cheesesteak was a disappointment of little fillings, the steak being thick, large tough cuts of beef rather than thinly shaved tender Ribeye and was served on a plain Italian hogie rather than Philly roll. 3 stars for food.Would I go back? Probably. Would I order the same things? Definitely not.
My husband I ate here today and it was a great experience. I also had the most amazing waitress! Her name is Courtney, she provided the best service I’ve ever had in a long time . She was so helpful , polite , super attentive and has a very bubbly personality she definitely made us feel at home .
We ate at Sal & Mookie’s in Madison Friday afternoon. The food was fantastic and the service was the best. Laura kept our drinks full. She was wonderful. We tried a bit of everything, all fantastic. My husband said it was the best restaurant food he’d ever had. The pizza was outstanding. Crawfish corn bisque was wonderful. We were there for quite a while and during that time no one rushed us. We were a party of ten. I have to give them a five star review, because they earned it!!
First time here and thought it was one of the best pizzas in the area. Liked the ability for the kids to look into the kitchen which was fun. Will be back in the future!
We travel from Texas to visit family and eat the phenomenal food from Sal & Mookie’s! The owners are legit the best, the staff (Courtney, Josh, Laura, CJ and all the rest!) are amazing! The entire experience is something you just cannot find often. 10/10 would totally recommend EVERY TIME!
