I dined at the Pizza Shack in Madison twice during recent trips between New Orleans and my home in Arkansas. The restaurant was busy both times, with numerous customers dining in as well as picking up carry-out orders. On each trip, I ordered a pizza for carry-out. The pizzas took a long time to bake, but they were definitely worth waiting for. Both times I ordered a medium, thin crust sausage and spinach pie -- cut into squares. The pies were well-prepared, with a wonderful crunchy crust, plenty of perfectly-melted cheese, fennel-flavored sausage and good-tasting spinach. I was very pleased with the food as well as the service and plan to return to Pizza Shack the next time I am in Madison.
Took my boys to the pizza shack today!!! My boys loved it!!! The pizza is amazing ?!!! The pizza is one of the best I’ve had in Madison.
It was 1:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday waited 45 minutes there was nobody in there for a Philly cheesesteak which was the driest sandwich I’ve ever eaten and they said they had no ketchup absolutely horrible for $14
Pizza was great. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. There was tons of meat on our pizza and the flavor was excellent.
There's something great about their pizza that is different and filing. I just haven't found this style of pizza anywhere else. It's a really good pizza and you can grab a brew too.
Family-friendly atmosphere, delicious pizza, attentive and courteous workers… what more could you ask for?
In my opinion the pizza is very good. You can call ahead to pickup your pizza and most of the time it is ready. And if do order when you get there it doesn't take long for you to get your order. Try it, you just may like it.
Love this place. I wish we had one closer to home. The pizza was amazing. I had the small Italian cowboy and my friend had pepperoni. We also had a side salad. They were good too. The staff were short but they made it work. We got our food quickly. The place was clean. They had ping pong, and other games which was nice. Will definitely be back again
I had the Carnivore pizza. BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD!!! Also had the cheese sticks: AWESOME!!! I also had three scoops of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream: EXCELLENT!!! My only complaint is that the drink machine is too far off the floor. Other than that, one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant. 5 stars.
Normally my favorite pizza place hands down. Ordered cheese pizza for carry out tonight. When I got home it looked like a Domino’s pizza. Normally they load it down with cheese, so much so that I never order extra cheese. Must be someone new making pizzas cause it barely had any cheese. Very disappointed
