Food was good but could've used some seasoning. Staff was great.
This was my very 1st time coming here to a hibachi restaurant, which was my wife's idea. I enjoyed seeing him cook the food right in front of us. Everything was hot & fresh. The staff was very nice & courteous. The food was definitely on point. I had the hibachi chicken & shrimp with grilled vegetables and onions & fried rice. Everything was good even the salad as well. The taste was better than what I was expecting. The budlight was nice & cold how I like. My wife had the shrimp hibachi & a Nagoya roll. We really enjoyed our visit and we will definitely come back to eat here again. If you haven't tried this place please put it on your to-do list.
This place has definitely earned a -0 from me, not because of the sub par customer service but because of a bug infestation. I will be contacting the health dept in regards to how clean this restaurant really is. I ordered hibachi to go and was surprised to a little extra in my vegetables (please see pic below). Not only am I disgusted but I'm appalled that a restaurant in upscale Madison would allow this to happen in their establishment. Don't ever worry about my business again.
We went in right at 9 pm. The sign on the door said they closed at 10. We were not even 1/4 finished with our food & they brought us to go boxes. Immediately they followed with the bill & then the kiosk to make a payment. Since I had got a phone call I stopped eating & made the payment. Unfortunately I went ahead & left a good tip. When I looked up there were 6-7 people standing at the back not far from our table, waiting & watching us. We went ahead & put our food in the boxes. I asked if they closed at 930 & she said yes. If you didn’t feel you had sufficient time to serve us you should have told us when we arrived instead of rushing us out after a $75 purchase. Never again. Food was fair to adequate but definitely not the best Japanese I’ve eaten. Maybe they rushed it?
Took the family including 3, 3-5 year olds there. The chef was excellent and put on a great show for the kids. Thats all they talked about the rest of the night. Food was good.
Soup not good and rice was on the gummy side. Ventilation not that greatest.
My favorite sushi and hibachi in the area. BBQ salmon roll is my favorite. And look how pretty their carry out presentation is!
The food here is always amazing! It's a great spot for lunch with an old friend or loved one. The staff is efficient & worked together. The sushi was freshly made. Our waitress never allowed our glasses to be empty. I was introduced to edamame & I liked it. ?My favorite is the Nagoya roll! You can't go wrong with the sushi or hibachi here!
20 minutes waiting for a table, 25 minutes at the table waiting for somebody to take my order or beverages, expensive, and food flavor regular. A free dessert does not worth the time. No more Nagoya.
good food, good staff and good atmosphere
