Bonefish is consistently rated as one of the best chain restaurants in the country. What they are experiencing in the post pandemic world is not exclusive to the Madison location like some of the wailers want to believe. A worker shortage affects every process of the operation, and the labor pool is not responding to the galaxy of jobs currently available in the restaurant business. So some of you that are consistently complaining about poor service, or lack thereof, how about helping the situation by taking a part time job at your favorite eatery. That way we can count on you to help us recover from the woes in the service industry.
I ordered a salad and got mostly iceberg lettuce cores. The food took over an hour and they forgot to bring my son's meal. When they did his fish was so greasy that he couldn't eat it. The trout was overcooked. They have mussels on the menu but the waitress said they haven't had them in over a year. Service was ok. Not horrible, not great. Food quality was low. I would not go back.
Great food great atmosphere. Just do t get a lot for the money
I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We got steaks and seafood, cooked to perfection exactly as we requested. I really have no complaints, everything was timed Great.. the winter Cosmo was awesome with ice crystals in it, kept it just the right temperature through my meal. The waitress was more than helpful and assisted us whenever needed asap. The chocolate lava cake was so soft and fluffy, I recommend trying the specials menu.
Such a pleasant experience! Our waitress Suzie was so friendly. The food and cocktails were delicious. The entire restaurant was clean and had a nice asthetic. The acoustics were really good so you could easily talk and hear the person you are dining with. Short (and pretty) walk from the Hilton Garden Inn. All in all, such a wonderful experience. Recommend to anyone for a nice dinner!
First time visiting Bonefish. Faith, our server, was very pleasant and took good care of us. Everything we ate was flavorful and really good. Cannot wait to return and try other items on the menu.
It was a very poor experience. This was my 3rd visit and I ordered a pineapple martini which was in a dirty glass. You can literally feel and see the faded brown dirt spots. I also ordered shrimp and chicken with a side of bacon mac and cheese and seasoned veggies ( it was only broccoli and it wasn’t seasoned, maybe a pinch of salt) but I never received the bacon mac and cheese. I later found out they were out of bacon and that was only because someone, not our waiter, came from the kitchen and addressed/ informed another person, at the table, who also ordered it. I informed such person, at that moment, that I also ordered a side of bacon Mac and cheese and it was supposed to had came out with my plate (I received the remaining dish right before this person came out). He was not aware of a 2nd order, his words, and stated he will check on it. I saw him talking to our table waiter and noticed him pointing in our direction, however, I never received the side order yet it was still charged when getting the receipt. Of course I address the waiter and had that side order charge removed, but this was completely inexcusable and unacceptable. From what I did receive, Broccoli, grill chicken and shrimp, Applebee’s would’ve been much better and I don’t recommend coming here.
Excellent Customer Service
My dad and I walked in and immediately new something was wrong. IT WAS A FRIDAY NIGHT and there were 3 tables including us. We even called to make a reservation thinking it would be slammed. No one told the host we called but they were slow anyway. We sat down and gave it a chance. Theo was server, very unprofessional and not polite. He also was dripping in sweat as if he was just working at the grill. We waited 30 minutes for my dad and his wife to finally get their $60 bottle of wine….again 3 tables, we were the only one he was serving. When he wasn’t at our table he was just standing around talking or walking around. Just pure lazy. Bread was cold. All of the small plates they brought were dirty. Silverware was dirty. This is not the Bonefish experience ANYONE wants. We ended up just leaving.
I have dined at Bonefish Grill many times but I have to say this will be my last my last few visits was HORRIBLE I got the BANG BANG SHRIMP & they where awful they were cold when the waitress brought them to me & they barely had the Famous Sauce so I sent them back I ordered the Filet with Garlic Mashed Potatoes I wanted Broccoli but to no avail they were out so I had to improvise I ordered my steak Medium and received a DRY WELL DONE STEAK the waitress offered to take it back but I was frustrated because I had to send my appetizer back & still hadn’t received it so I just tried to eat it…. I received my appetizer at the END OF MY MEAL at this point I was beyond upset because the purpose of an appetizer is before the meal it took so long for them to bring it back til I thought they had forgot to remake them I simply told the waitress to take them back and OFF MY TICKET because I was so disappointed in my entire visit Ordinarily I don’t give reviews about restaurants, but because this visit was so HORRIBLE I HAD I wouldn’t have given the 1 ⭐️ I gave if I had the choice to not ??♀️??♀️??♀️
