We Came all the way from Oklahoma City , My Husband and My Mom watched the episode on HGTV and wanted to try the Food. The Food is Delicious ?. We wished we could have meet Mrs Pearl or her Son. Only Negative the Lady at the Register was rude her named is Iman .

The food was really good and the staff amazing. Well worth the wait if you get there with everyone else!

This was our second visit to Laurel and Pearls. The food was southern cooking. We all had something different and everyone like what they had.

First time to eat there. Food was so good. Real home cooking, southern style. Had the fried chicken with green beans, mac&cheese with roll. For dessert had the banana pudding. Tastes just like my granny's. Priced reasonably. Wish we had time to go there again.

Got told I ordered something I absolutely will not eat. The wait staff wanted to argue with me about it and I told her it was fine, I just wouldn’t eat it. The person placing orders was short and matter of fact. Definitely not pleasant. We actually detoured there after 6 hrs on the road and we’re excited about it… Never again, sad.

Pearl’s is consistent in their down home, southern diner style cooking. Can’t beat her chicken. Get there early as there will be a line.

Very good. Go early. Get in line by 10:45. Shop next door while you wait. Very good fried chicken. Also the peas were very good. Loved the jalapeño cornbread

In all fairness we did not eat there as it was too packed with tourists. Only open from 11-2. Walked down the street to Lee,s-much more enjoyable experience there. And food was good! If you’re concerned about crowding and social distancing this is not the place for you.

Our first trip to Laurel & The Pearl diner was worthy of the hype! We visited on a Friday afternoon & thankfully since we missed arriving at 11 when it opened we didn’t wait long or outside in the heat. You order at the counter, are given a number & thanks to a limited menu we were served within approx. 10 minutes. We feasted on her crispy fried chicken, perfectly seasoned collard greens, scrumptious homemade mac & cheese, corn muffin & creamy banana pudding washed down with sweet tea. Laurel is blessed to have an authentic southern diner in the heart of their downtown for their midday meal.

We had just gotten into Laurel and wanted lunch. We were directed here and we were not disappointed. Loved their fried chicken and sides.
