Nice atmosphere didn't care for the cheese that came on tge enchiladas
My son requested Los Primos for his birthday! We actually had 3 birthday, Lane, Kaine and Marley! Was my first experience, we had a ball! The salsa, chips and cheese dip are amazing!! Our entrees were fabulous!! And the service was above and beyond 5 star!!
For starters you get 1 basket of chips then you have to pay for any others. Once we got our food it was so salty it was bad. We picked and ate what we could. We went to check out and they are adding $1 to the menu price. They have a tiny note on the front of the menu and expect you to see that. The owner argued that not charging the menu price and due to his “note” his lawyer said it was legal to charge a different price than listed. No it’s bad business. I get the price hikes but the food is already way over priced compared to the other 10 Mexican restaurants in laurel. There’s also a note on the door that states credit card users will be charged .04 for every dollar. This place is a joke and I have no idea how they remain in business. So many way better choices with no “extra” cost to the customer.

Been going to this place since I was a teenager and would have always said they were the best. I won’t be back after tonight. I went this afternoon because of the special they offered today. Placed my order and they didn’t give me the special. So I had to ask for it. I hate asking about discounts. And they asked me if I wanted the special…yes that’s why I ordered it! I should have said no cause look what I got. I’ve never had a taco from this place that looked like this. So I messaged and asked if they are using this gross cheese permanently? Cause I get there are shortages. Got a smart reply instead. It seems now if you want the decent cheese they’ve always used, you have to ask for it. News to me. I won’t beg to not be over charged or given decent cheese. These were gross.
The food was not good at all, the meat for the Tacos tasted sour, the tamales was really dry and tasted like they came out of a can, and the enchilada meat was just horrible and was so spicy I couldn't even eat it. I left and not even 30 minutes later my stomach started hurting really bad, I only took a couple of bites out of the entire plate. The best thing in the entire place was the drink.
We had an awesome date night at Los Primos. Great service. Great food. #supportlocal
