Best tacos in the state. The carnitas are absolutely delicious!! Great food. Great staff. Feels like I’m eating at grandmas honestly.
Very flavorful. Enchiladas verde were good but the Rojas were even better! Table hot sauce and salsa verde were amazing. Rice was a bit bland but the refried beans had a lot of flavor. Tacos and tamales are both great as well! Service was fast and friendly.
The steak tacos with either the green or red sauce will make you wish you had more tacos. Don't normally like rice but here I ate it. Good refried beans.

I used to eat here pretty regularly a few years ago when I was a student at JCJC, then I moved to Louisiana 3 years ago. I have tried many new Mexican restaurants in my area hoping to find something that compares to how good this is. While I was town visiting family today I knew I had to stop for some steak tacos on my way home and they were even better than I remember them. I’ve never had a bad meal at this place and have never been able to find anywhere else that makes tacos as good as these. Everything is always delicious and customer service is always excellent! I don’t come “home” often but when I do I always try to squeeze stopping here into my agenda.
We stopped for lunch here based on the awesome reviews. Food was excellent. We each ordered 3 tacos. Three was a bit much for me -- two would have been perfect. The staff, including our server, were excellent. Stopped by our table several times to check in on us. Definitely recommend.
The looks of this place may be offsetting but the staff are wonderful and the food... The food is absolutely delicious !!!!!!
Several of us went to Julia's Bakery for lunch. They serve authentic Mexican food. I ordered 3 tacos - carnitas (slow cooked pulled pork) on a corn/maiz soft shell, a side of rice and beans, and a sweet tea. Just look at that pic of the tacos. Makes me hungry again. The service was friendly, quick and our food arrived hot and tasty. I like the fact they have 3 or 4 different levels of heat in their salsas, from mild to much hotter (picante). Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommended.

Don’t let the name fool you: this is one of the best places to get street tacos in South Mississippi. Cheap tex-mex is nowhere to be found here, but their legit, authentic Mexican food is always a treat. Prices are fair, service is excellent, they check all the boxes. I’d highly recommend getting in on one of the best kept secrets in Laurel.
