This is some of the best BBQ you will ever eat. Get the ribs you wont be sorry. This place gets full very quick but its worth the wait.
I believe this place was closing at 2 (which we didn't know when we went in) and we got there as the lunch crowd was leaving. We chose to sit outside with our pet. My husband went in and ordered, they gave him a table number card and said someone would bring it out. We waited for a bit and finally a lady brought it out and said she had no idea we would be outside. (When we arrived there were 2 groups leaving from the outdoor seating area.) The bbq was pretty good - probably 4/5. The prices were very reasonable. I had a small sandwich and side of corn nuggets for 7.99. Most places charge that for just the nuggets. If in the area again we would most likely visit again. Not a bad choice if looking for bbq.
I don’t know why this is classified as a quick bite- it’s a sit down family style restaurant. If you love BBQ then don’t pass this place up. We’re from STL and we’ve had some amazing BBQ , but Hog Heaven is more than amazing it’s a MELT IN YOUR MOUTH I’D DRIVE 9 HOURS FOR IT AGAIN BBQ! This isn’t a fancy place but it’s definitely 5 stars! Don’t be rushed when you visit, take some time after you eat and chat with the locals. They’re genuinely the nicest people you’d ever want to meet.
I had the pulled pork plate and the husband had the brisket plate. Delicious. Good service. Very clean. Generous portions. Two thumbs up.
A friend and I stopped in on our way to New orleans and it may become a regular stop now. The food was great and the service was friendly and quick. The pulled pork was on key and sweet potato casserole was amazing. Til next year!
It was ok. The fried okra was on the soggy side and the brisket was definitely not trimmed at all, it was half fat. Mac and cheese was pretty bland, probably store bought. Meats had good flavor.
The food was excellent as well as the service. The decor was interesting and very clean . Will definitely comeback if in the area! Highly recommend!!!
We traveled all day from Florida on our way back home to Missouri. Tired and didn't know where to eat. Did a Google search and found this restaurant. Food was excellent. Friendly, efficient staff. We 3 enjoyed our visit very much. Definitely recommend for those who want great BBQ.
Awesome food, tons of delicious food on the menu. The staff is friendly. I utilize the convenient drive through most all of the time , but there is a huge dining area. Even some shady tables out front. If you leave this place hungry It will be your on fault .
Extremely friendly! The staff there was the best. The pork was good but the baked beans and cornbread were worth the drive. ?
