We picked this place because of the high reviews. The corn salad was good and the staff was sweet and friendly. They were out of pork, salsa, and something else I can’t remember. We were the only guests so I should’ve let that tell us something. It was too expensive for what it was. What it was: bland, the steak didn’t look or taste like steak. I’m a spice avoider mainly but I got jalapeños and it helped. I want to like it because the staff were so sweet but it wasn’t a good experience and too expensive. Makes me wish we’d gone somewhere else.
Walking through Laurel with our shih-tzus, the outdoor seating at Gecko's was the draw. Better yet, the food was delicious. We both had self-designed quesdillas that were delicious.
I would give zero stars this is not a joke the street corn is more like sidewalk corn it’s not good I’m from Florida and I know what good Mexican is but the chicken is like fish no joke fish the food is gross and I was In line for a good minute.

I am giving 2 stars only because Staff was friendly. Otherwise the food is mediocre. I ordered chicken tacos and my husband had pork tacos. Both were very flavorless. By the time the toppings are put on and you get to a table they are cold. Sides were bland as well and we threw them out. I am a foodie and expect flavorful food in everything that I eat. On vacation and most other town restaurants were closed.

You order and pay before you receive your meal. They had a choice of steak, chicken, pulled pork soft tacos. Had other choices besides tacos. Multiple sauces and toppings. Indoor and outdoor seating. Had beer and wine.
Friendly service and good atmosphere. The food was ok, but nothing stellar. Wraps were overpriced for how tiny they were. Wish I had gone with tacos!
