I had lunch with a friend and it was wonderful! We both had the wedge salad with steak bites and it was so very good. The steak bites were more than a bite and so tender with a tasty flavor. The waitress was the best she was so busy but she made sure to take care of everyone in the restaurant! Oh I almost forgot the bread pudding! It was huge more than enough for the two of us and it was the best ever! I would give a 6 star if I could but the 5 will have to do:) please stop by you will be glad you did the menu had a great selection of the foods you will enjoy so much can’t wait to go back.
Visiting from Oregon and this place was recommended for Tuesday Smoked Prime Rib. Off the charts delicious. We ate in the bar. Jody was a great bartender. Will definitely recommend it on various FB pages!!!!!
The good: The charcuterie board was excellent as was the waitress. My wife's salmon was also very good. The bad: The first pair of entrees brought to our table were meant for someone else, but the rosemary chicken on the bed of garlic mashed potatoes looked delicious. When they finally brought my chicken it was very disappointing. It was very overcooked. Most was inedible being burnt and dry. They chose to leave off the mashed potatoes since I had also ordered the hand cut fries as one of my sides (I love potatoes). Fortunately the fries were good as was the roasted asparagus and I ate part of my wife's salmon. In retrospect, I wish I had spent the $100 on some good steaks and cooked at home myself. I hope things improve because Quitman could really use another good restaurant.
They advertised on Facebook that they had a limited supply of oysters. We enjoyed 3 dozen. Charbroiled Oysters where the absolute best I have ever had! I can't say enough. Raw were good too but the Charbroiled? Off the chain. Service was fantastic as well.
I have been here several times since they opened. Sometimes it has been really good and sometimes not good at all. ( Severs and food ) My husband suggested going for dinner. I was a bit skeptical as it’s quite expensive to get a poor meal. He seemed eager so I went along hoping it would be good. I was pleasantly surprised. Jenny, our server was very nice and accommodating. I hope they keep her. Our steaks were perfect. They were exactly what we ordered. All sides were good too except maybe the roll. It was quite hard. It just didn’t seem very fresh. I really wish they would serve Texas Toast instead. Based on our dinner tonight, we will return and it won’t be so long. If I had one other negative thing to say it would be the floor of the restaurant. It looks terrible. It is concrete with some splotchy black paint here and there. I don’t know if this is even something they can control as I don’t know the stipulations as to the use of the facilities and how much they can do there. It won’t keep me from returning. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We went early so it was quiet and relaxed and we got back home early on this very cold winter evening.
Good food. We enjoy it. Ordered the special once and did not realize how much it was. Wish the menu with prices was on the Facebook page, same with the specials.
Probably best food in Laurel, zero ambiance though.
Nothing to complain about this place! The food and steaks are absolutely delicious and not mention the GREAT service! I would definitely recommend this beautiful decored place for a nice dinner or outing with your family!
The steak is delicious! I get the steak (medium) with salad and the mashed praline sweet potato.appetizers we swap between the Mississippi egg rolls and the fried quail . i’m allergic to shellfish so I can’t say yes or no about those dishes but I will say everything we’ve tried we love!!
Excellent service! Jenny was our waitress! Steak was cooked to perfection, and drinks were perfect! This is our favorite date night location!
