Food use to be way better and more on plate. They cut back and fish was fried too hard and maybe even in dirty grease. I won't be back for awhile. This use to be one of the best places to eat in laurel.
The best fried catfish and boiled shrimp around!!!! Highly recommend!!!
My go-to meal is the fish & shrimp combo plate with an Arnold Palmer(1/2 sweet tea, 1/2 lemonade) to wash it all down
The Ribs Was Boiled And The Bake Beans Taste Like Porky Beans Out Of The Can The Potato Salad Was Ok

Great fried shrimp!
I actually liked it and I don't even like fish.My co-worker brought back some "Carl's" one day and I tried some of the fried catfish. It was really good! There was sooo much food too. She was only able to eat half of it and let me have the rest. The next day I got some fried shrimp and fries with hushpuppies. The lunch plate had so much food and it wasn't expensive at all. I highly recommend this place. Be sure to bring your appetite!
