Wow wow wow. This shop is a dream! Cool vibes and character, wonderful artwork, great espresso and the PIE. to die for.
Can someone please talk to past me and ask why in the heck we waited so long to visit this place?! It is absolutely wonderful! The nosh items are mostly ever-changing based on the season and what incredibly fresh ingredients they can get their hands on. The building isn’t the easiest for our handicapable friends, but I bet my bottom dollar if you’re one and want to give them a try… they’ll either deliver it curbside or give you options for easier access. I’m serious, these folks are absolutely down to earth and welcoming to all! We felt like family the minute we set foot inside and have remained that way! Mya (spelling?) is an absolute gem of an employee! If I had a local business front, they’d need to watch out! I’d do all I could to steal her! (Don’t fret Urban Fox leaders, I’m leaving the coffee and awesome local business experience to you! I just had to make a point.) If there’s a grilled cheese ANYTHING available, order it! My spouse and bestie are obsessed! I’ll share this in closing… the second visit, we went on a Saturday morning… the employee present was by themself (no, not ideal, but who knows what goes on in the crazy life of owning a business these days?). They were CRAZY business and even crazier outnumbered with orders. The vibe was chill, we weren’t in a hurry… So, we told them to take their time on our food. We enjoyed our drinks by the sip (probably wouldn’t have slowly enjoyed it otherwise which would’ve been sad)… and within 15-20 minutes we had warm, absolutely stunning, food. They profusely apologized. The very next visit, we hoped to see them because we had a gift of thanks we’d made. They were still insistent to apologize for the previous visit but we told them to hush! A perfect experience is worth the wait!
Delicious slices of pie. They have a few varieties but I’m always pleased with what I get. There is seating indoor or out back.
Made a plan to stop here as we were traveling through the area and had read great reviews. It didn’t disappoint! Great coffee, spectacular atmosphere, clean restroom, very courteous staff. Just loved it. So cozy! Would absolutely return next time I’m in the area.
This is my favorite place in Jackson to catch up with a pal over a slice of delicious pie, catch up on emails or space out on the porch with a cortado, or see a sweet local band or DJ with a delicious Miller Lite (or fancy craft beer). Love the special events such as art sales and benefit shows and the vibes are always delightful.
Awesome little indie coffee shop in a historic house. Really high quality iced and chai lattes with a creative menu and vegan options. Also open on Sundays!
Good customer service (black lady) & coffee.Pantries are not rememberable tho (very bland).... but a good coffee setting.....
This a nice place to get work done and it’s a great meeting place for business consultations or just to get a peace of mind .
Nosferpesto had sunflower over sour dough, sharp cheddar, basil-pecan pesto, red onion, tomato. Yummy Mummy had tres leches pound cake, smoked gouda, swiss, blackberry jam.
Great coffee, baked goods, and P-Funk on a sunny and spring-like late Sunday morning... can't top that!
