The food was amazing and large portions. The only downside is it’s all outdoor seating. They have wood blocks like jenga and hula hoops for the kids .

Hands down the best pulled pork I’ve ever had! Fried green tomatoes and comeback cole slaw were delicious as well!

Great food and lovely atmosphere

I ordered the Brisket Plate for Take Out with Smoked Mac and Cheese and Hand Cut Fries for the sides. The brisket was moist and it may have been the best brisket I have ever had other than a few places in Texas. The service was good, the prices fair, and food amazing. I highly recommend!!!!

This is a great choice for lunch or dinner. You order at the counter, choose where you want to sit and they will bring your food to you. They have a lovely outdoor area with picnic tables, another area inside. The food is great and the service is good too. There are a few things in the outside area to entertain children while you wait for your food or while you are finishing yours. We had the sliced brisket sandwiches and loved them. This appears to be a place the locals love and we know why.

Luke Gralia at Eat This, Not That made The Pig & Pint his top choice for Mississippi BBQ. We came by to have lunch on the patio. $34.62 purchased a 2 meat (baby back ribs, brisket), 2 sides (mango coleslaw and greens) sampler plate, to which we added a side of fried green tomatoes and a bananas foster banana pudding. Both meats were well prepared, with the brisket sporting an understated central Texas salt/pepper rub that gave the bark great flavor. In turn, the ribs packed a lot of flavor into a thick crust, with the meat separating cleanly at the bite. The fried green tomatoes and mango coleslaw were excellent, but the vinegary greens were not to our liking. If you are not familiar with this deep south take on banana pudding, but have a taste for rum, you will definitely want to save room for this dessert.

We stopped by after packing my daughter's dorm and I'm glad we did. Great barbecue, packed with flavor and love. The price point is great and they have lots of options for families, couples or someone dining alone. The collard greens make you want to kiss the cook. We, a family of 3 shared the grand champion for 2 and had left over. It comes with a full rack of baby back ribs, 2 additional meats of your choice and 4 sides. Like Arnold, I'll be back!

I have to say, the brisket is the best i’ve had, although most of my experience was in Texas, Tennessee, and lower-quality Canadian joints. Ribs were melting in your mouth. Loved the fried green tomatoes with comeback sauce, pork belly corndogs with the tomato-ginger sauce, and boudin balls with mustard sauce. The banana bread was amazing. Of course, the sides were well executed. Just had some left-over beans for breakfast and I wish I had more left!Truly a national-class institution in my opinion. The Chief Pit Master Grant is very passionate and fun to talk to.

Not bad at all. Quite yummy! The meat was a bit dry, which is why I didn’t give 5 stars. However, overall - it was enjoyable and had some tasty pimento cheese pork rinds!

Had the three meat combo plate. It was all very good. But the ribs were amazing. Highly recommend ribs!!!
