The history, atmosphere and beer selection get 5 stars! What a cool piece of Jackson MS history! And the physical menu is just cool as hell! Awesome happy hour deals!! I got the half order nachos which were as good as bar nachos get. Ordered the redfish tacos for my entree and was disappointed. The description describes the quintessential fish taco with mango salsa. But it came loaded with shredded cheddar and tasteless mango. I personally don’t believe shredded cheese goes on a tropical fish taco. The fish was a little dry and overall the tacos were meh. The accompanying Mexican corn with cojita cheese was good. I would definitely come back and recommend the restaurant just not the fish tacos.

A really unique restaurant in downtown Jackson! This place had a great menu and awesome atmosphere. Lots of seating available upstairs and downstairs and a decent area outside. There are two bars, one upstairs and one downstairs. The music was great but it was very loud but still enjoyable. The joint was very busy when I went but we still got our food and drinks in a timely manner! I highly suggest giving this place a visit at least once!

Magical. ? Our waitress Lacey was heaven sent. First time in Jackson, MS and this spot was amazing.

Had an early dinner, and it was great. Our server Kim was very nice and attentive. She’s fantastic. Our good was good and they where very helpful as I’m a vegetarian. The little museum upstairs is worth looking at and spending a little time seeing . I would definitely go and check it out .

We were seated and didn’t have service until my husband went to find the hostess to let them know. They made up for it afterwards and were very attentive - I think it may have been a shift change that caused the confusion. We even had a visit by the chef at the end of our meal. We began with appetizers of bbq quesadilla & southwest egg rolls (happy hour prices). Both were really good. I had the beef chimichanga which was also very good. My husband had the shrimp and our friends shared fajitas which had a great flavor & very tender. We were talked into 2 desserts - brownie with bacon which sent your taste buds into a frenzy. We also loved the lemon icebox pic which was our absolute favorite …we couldn’t talk the chef into sharing the recipe. A band was setting up to play as we finished our meal and the restaurant was filling up quickly!! A train runs around the top of the bar and into the back of the restaurant- pretty cool! They also have a museum upstairs that we tried to visit but a private party was being held so we couldn’t get in.

The food was below average, the serving staff were ok, but not happy, the ribs were over cooked and dry as were the prawns. Steak and slaw were good. Fries were cold and tasted like paper. We did not complain to the server so he would not have known, but the ‘Chef’ would have. Overall it’s ok, and at over $100 for a main with no starter and a couple of beers, quite expensive.

My wife and I wanted a nice restaurant with an expansive menu, a good cocktail and lots of charm. We found it here. The food was great, the restaurant seating area is very large and accommodating and the full bar offered great drink options. My wife and I both enjoyed our food and we did notice that the servers were very attentive and professional with the parties they served. On nights when they have a band it could be noisy, but otherwise a great place for any size party to get a good meal. One big surprise is that this restaurant has an upstairs museum area with life-like WAX replicas of Mississippi entertainers. I have never seen anything like it. Amazing. It is clear the owners of this place have put in a lot of work to create a nice restaurant. If you have any doubts, just check out the website of this place, I have never seen a website as good or entertaining. First class all the way.

We came on a Monday night and it was packed! So we retired to the bar which we prefer anyway. They have around fifteen local and regional taps and we sampled several. Our entrees were perfect and service was good. Especially accommodating was Montie Moore, the manager, tending to all tables to make sure all is well. Highly recommended.

I would eat here again. The waitress that I had along with my family yesterday were genuinely kind and helpful. She maintained eye contact and was respectful. The food was served nicely. Portions for the cost met expectations. The drinks were served with the right amount of ice. Overall, I would definitely go back here to eat again.

I had the “Stuffed Delta Catfish” which on paper sounds like delicious dish. But the execution of the actual meal was lackluster at best. The fried okra was really good, nice crispy fry and decent sized okra pieces. Mac and cheese was under-seasoned, it was cold on arrival so the cheese was congealed. The dinner roll itself was decent, especially with the honey butter that came on the side. Catfish itself was okay the batter could have been crispier, especially with a sauce on top that made the catfish batter soggy. The crabmeat filling that was inside was okay, could have been more seasoned. It also was all stacked in the middle, instead of evenly spread out through the catfish. The lemon dill sauce didn’t taste like anything, I had to squeeze fresh lemon on top to get any lemon flavor in my dish. The service was wonderful our server Marsha treated us so well and kindly. Overall the experience was okay, but for the price you pay it’s simply not worth it.
