Very clean cafeteria, good service, friendly staff, large variety of meats and vegetables. It appears to be under new management. A noticeable improvement since last visit.

Ordered dinner off DoorDash after a long day and when i started eating i picked up the shrimp as pictured… I’m SO glad i looked at it before biting into it because it was a ROACH cooked in the shrimp!! Absolutely disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs!! Definitely calling the state about this first thing in the morning!

Restaurant was clean. Male cook was on the line and did not greet. The line servers did not greet. The cashier just handed me my receipt. Make matters worse it was 11:08 and my food was cold and the restaurant just opened.
As always, on point. Im rarely disappointed when when get food from here. Been patronizing since i was 16 years old and it's still good food, good customer service at both locations (one near metro in jackson, location in medical mall in jackson, one off 55 in north jackson). 12 bucks gets you a full meal (no beverage included).
They make the best carrot souffle. The food is good home cooked soul food.
The staff really knows how to make you feel at home with their customer service skills and then make you feel like you are dining at a 5-star restaurant.

Cold food.. rude servers.. over priced... it was so bad... I didn't ever recognize the roast beef.
