They sell Swai fish fillets as the real American catfish at a high price when Swai is cheap so they need to stop falsely advertising this as catfish. Today June 22nd 2022 I literally pulled up at Mars fish House went in purchase a catfish nugget dinner and a hot wing dinner plate waiting about a good 30 to 45 minutes 30 to 40 minutes on my food while my family sat waiting in the car while burning gas to keep them cool.I literally stay probably 10 minutes away from Martins and when I get home start feeding my family which been waiting to eat all day, the fish was redropped because I cooked the many restaurants and I know redrop from fresh the food didn't have any steam coming from the plate or any moisture from the food being hot. I called back let whoever answer the phone know that hey y'all had me doing all that waiting, burning gas for for almost an hour only to be served some redrop food, so the lady told me to bring the food back then it'll be reimbursed which I told her hey I already fed my family that had been waiting so long to eat. So she offered to reimburse me for whatever was left and which I don't understand because I sat there and waited that long for fresh food it only got redrop and I know when Mr Martin was alive he wouldn't even ever allowed that it's just lazy people running the store now highly recommended not to even go back there ever again I'll go to Eddie's fish House, I'll go to Boston fish, I'll go anywhere except for Martins, really bad customer service ,terrible food!
I am originally from Jackson Mississippi. When I come back home to visit, I always look for something that I cannot get where I live now. For example, one of those things is always finding a good restaurant for Friday catfish. Well, this particular time I went to Martin's and I ordered a catfish dinner. Now the sign outside says they serve farm raised catfish but in reality they do not! I got back to my family's home and realized I had been given swai which is a much cheaper fish that tastes nothing like catfish. This really upset me and I hate have to leave a negative review for this establishment however, you shouldn't advertise something that you do not actual provide. I give three stars though some items were really good.
The service was very fast and the customer service was good. The only thing was my fish was a bit salty. I had enough on my plate to feed 2 people. So, I most definitely got my money worth.
I love them... My girl work the front is awesome and the cook is awesome as well. I wish I can get there on time for the banana pudding it's the boom...

I ordered a plate of catfish steak ? it was horrible and when I say horrible I throw the whole plate out the window taste like the bottom of the see and under cook I will never eat here again

I always go to Martin Fish House, when I visit Mississippi. Best food in town. Home cooked food. They cook with love. Please try their Banana pudding so good. Thank you Martin's Fish House.
Absolutely the best down south southern fried fish spot in Jackson Ms.You get delectable mouth watering large pieces of fish,and delicious very large hush puppies.The prices are moderate,but go early the parking can be a bit of a challenge if you arrive at lunch or after 4:00 p.m. the quality and taste of the fish at this establishment is second to none.
