If you like good food, You will love Lou's. The menu is loaded with great selections. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is good. A must try in Jackson.
Our waiter was Ro and he was phenomenal! The food, the service, and the atmosphere was on point. We were here for a couples date night and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back. We ordered drinks, two shrimp and grits, salmon, cast iron chicken and the cast iron pecan pie for desert. All the food was hot and came out timely. The four of us were firat time visitors and we will for sure be back. Thank you for a great experience.
You will find lots of locals at Lou’s on Tues & Thurs for their specials - fried chicken & pork chops. We were here on Thurs so of course we had the pork chops & I had the Burger #7. Our friend also had the flat iron steak salad. Everyone was impressed with the food and service! Our waiter also recommended the bread pudding for dessert and it is some of the best I have ever had! Prices are great and food is excellent!! Don’t miss out on a meal at Lou’s - ask for Jason - he was a great waiter!! He kept us entertained!
The place wasn't bad and the service was great.They had some good fancy burgers for sure.But the food here is overpriced and you'll be overwhelmed and embarrassed to have sat down and feel the need to get right back up and walk out the door after seeing the menu prices.Definitely can say that there's better places around the city of Jackson to eat that's around the same price point and respects more of your time and your wallet.
Tried Lou's last night with my husband. The service and food was A-MA-ZING. For the appetizer, we shared the Crawfish Fondue. And both had the house salad and Short Ribs the entrees. Everything was flavorful. The young lady that served us was extremely courteous and attentive. We will be back soon!
Was it just me or did I walk in on a bad day. Everything was salty. Even fried onion rings were too salty. Chicken itself was good but it got ruined by the salty sauceThey do have a good selection of beers, local beers and other alcohol
Food, service and atmosphere are great. The sandwich breading was a little salty so I wasn't able to fully enjoy it. The etouffee was really delicious.
