I’ve been frequenting this restaurant for years. I don’t know what seasoning they use and they will not tell me but it is sooooo good! I have had their oyster Po boy, chicken wings, gizzards, livers and they were all delicious. I have moved to Madison, but I betcha I’m stopping today for my order of their house salad and gizzards! I hope they one day open up another restaurant off Countyline or Ridgeland, maybe I’ll suggest it today, what do you think?😊
The wings weren’t it! They were small. They were frozen. I’m upset cause they were $12 for 6 bad wings and bad fries
Food is good but the prices are to high
I don't know what's happened, but this place has changed. My kids and I use to love driving here from where we stay but the food doesn't taste the same. We came yesterday and for the first time decided to get a combo, chicken and fish. I asked for extra seasoning(the seasoning that they sprinkle on the chicken) in a cup and said I'd pay for it. I was told that they didn't sell it like that so asked for it to be sprinkled on my meat. When we received our food and started eating it, we couldn't taste ANY seasoning on it. The catfish that they advertised and that we ordered was NOT catfish. I know what catfish tastes like and what they served tasted like Swai fish. Then, before making the drive from where we live I looked at the online menu and saw 1 price advertised. I got there and the owner's wife told me that the prices they have now have been in place for 6 months. If so, why not update online? I ended up paying over $40.00 for about 2 handfuls of fries, 10 small wings and 6 fake pieces of "catfish". The kids didn't even like the food and they liked it before. Looking at their menu there are a lot of scratched out and rewritten prices. Prices are going up and the quality and taste is going down. I'm a foodie so I'll pay for delicious food and travel for it when I don't feel like cooking myself, but this place just doesn't do it anymore for me. They do have a wide assortment of drinks and sweets for sweet lovers, but the price steadily going up and food taste going down will not allow me to return. Memphis has a delicious E-Z Chicken & Fish though.
I dont know about all of the food but I had a gyro plate and needless to say I wasn't impressed by it. It was pretty bland in taste and not something I would buy again

Very good food prepared by Greek natives. You get a selection of your traditional american fried variety and also some Greek items as well. I always get the Toshka, sliced lamb meat and mozzarella between two big pitas. Wish they were closer to Ridgeland or Brandon they would get a lot more business.
