Where to start with this diamond in the rough! It's so easy to drive by if you aren't paying attention to the strip mall that it's nestles, but if you stop and smell the roses, you'll find a welcoming, spacious outdoor patio/dining area.A sign posted outside of the door reads something along the lines of their food being made to order, and that it isn't fast food so please be patient. I don't know where you're coming from, but to me, that's a good sign!Once you open the door to Corban's, you're immediately treated like family. Each person who works here has so much patience and enjoys spending quality time with each customer to make sure that you order exactly what you want, the way you want it!I cannot recommend the gumbo and shrimp poboy sandwich enough! The gumbo had a great amount of spices and will warm your bones. The people here will warm your heart and restore your faith in premiere customer service. :) My one complaint with this restaurant is that they didn't make me order a bigger poboy! We can't wait to return (and buy more+bigger poboys!)

Great atmosphere and staff. With me being born and raised in Louisiana, I miss the food so I went in to eat. Everything I asked for ON THE MENU, they didn't have so I had to order something I didn't want. Altho the taste was on point, it bothers me that they didn't have everything on the menu. I tried the gumbo but it doesn't have any spices, it was bland. Louisiana style food is suppose to make you swear as you eat it. I had to add Tony's and Tabasco sauce to the gumbo. I couldn't try the jambalaya or etouffee because they had none so I couldn't try that for taste or flavor. They also need to add boudin to their menu as well. Please, if you're going to have a full menu, be sure to have everything for sale that's on it. Have the gumbo, jambalaya, and etoufee made in advance so it'll be ready when people order it.

The food and atmosphere at Corban's is delicious, meticulously prepared, and second to none! I didn't know it would be possible to move New Orleans to Mississippi, but the Owner's at Corban's have successfully done just that!!! Love ya,

We were looking for a quick bite to eat. I spotted pizza but my husband spotted the owner. He was like, “let’s try his place out.” I’m glad we did. Friendly owners, nice establishment and the food was great! They offer you a sample of their delicious gumbo as well. Next time we’re in Ridgeland, we’re trying the fried ribs and bread pudding.

Awesome Food! Awesome Atmosphere! Great Service

The fish was very fishy and the shrimp was cooked too long The bread, fries and tea was good though

We stumbled upon this gem while evacuated during Hurricane Ida. Boy did we get lucky. The food was not only on point from home but the family that owns this restaurant really welcomed us. Thank you for being so kind. The restaurant was very clean. The gumbo is amazing! Catfish and spicy egg roll things(can't remember the name)were to die for! Planning on heading back on Tuesday on my way home. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

My husband and I ate at Corban's for the first time this week. This place is amazing! The owners and staff were super nice, and very welcoming. My husband has never eaten fried ribs but that's what was recommended to him and they were to die for. I got a shrimp poboy and the shrimp were falling out. So delicious! Had a sample of gumbo and it was amazing. I have never had gumbo that good. They have several flavors of king cakes that they sell Please go by and try it out. You won't be disappointed. ???

??The food was AWESOME!!! I had the Super Spud Fried Shrimp. My experience was AMAZING!!! My face was buried inside the plate when I took the very first bite!!! I highly recommend this place to eat. Two thumbs up!??
