Simply a wonderful evening. Everyoneâs food was incredible - the scallops, red snapper special, mahi and ribeye. Specially drinks were also delicious. Between our table, we had a MS Mule, a Purple Orchid, a grapefruit Margarita and a Bloody Mary. Our server, Andrew, was attentive and friendly but allowed us time to visit and decide on our order. Every staff we encountered welcomed us and thanked us for dining with them. The atmosphere is comfortable and relatively private for a restaurant full of customers.
I can't understand why they allowed us to make a 8:45pm reservation and they close at 9pm. We felt very rushed! The waitress informed us we only had a few minutes to order before the kitchen closed. When we got our food, my chicken was rubbery (not fully cooked) and they didn't bring our anniversary dessert like we asked. Should have just turned around when they told us they close at 9.
Waitstaff congregated near the computers and neglected the tables. Steak was cooked well internally, but was rubbery and had no char. Nothing special to note on the potatoes. Not sure what the fuss is about this place, especially for the price.
Our waiter, Daniel, was excellent! It was our anniversary and he made us feel super special.

One of the best meals we have had in Jackson. We loved the crab claws, redfish and mahi mahi. Our server Cameron was top notch. We had appetizer, two entrees and four adult beverages for a very fair price. Didn't have room for dessert but Cameron brought us a small dessert sample for it being our anniversary.
We enjoyed our lunch. Food is always good at Char.
