I’ve always gone to the basils in downtown Jackson, but I’d ordered on an app and this location was one of the restaurants available. I always get the grilled chicken pasta salad, and every time I get it from downtown it’s delicious. This location must not have been having a good day, because per the reviews they must usually have good food. The chicken wasn’t grilled, and you could tell it was processed and prepackaged, definitely not fresh. The downtown location always adds huge chunks of mozzarella to theirs, this one didn’t include any. And the bread that comes with it from downtown is always charred very nicely with lots of flavor. The bread with this one was barely toasted and looked like all they did was dab some oil on it. Kind of a disappointment. Will definitely be sticking with the downtown branch.

Ordered a sandwich with basil on it and it didn't come with it on it, so I go to the counter and asked may I have some basil for my sandwich and the guy said they were out of basil??? The restaurant is called Basil's, how do you not have basil? So I pretty much ate a turkey sandwich with mozzarella cheese on it and that's pretty much it.

Amazing paninis and pizza. My favorite panini is the roast beef and the Margherita pizza is divine. Conveniently located in Fondren Corner close to Rooster's.

Excellent panini's but we had to park a little far from the restaurant and not many places to sit and eat. Service was not very friendly.
