The young man that took my order,doesn't know how to dress gosh? What I mean is he can't cut fish like it's supposed to be cut or split it was very ragged.
Food was excellent. Store was clean and simple.
The restaurant didn't have open hours posted on it's website (Facebook) but the hours listed in TripAdvisor were until 7 pm. We arrived at 5:15 and there was a line to the door. We got in line and waited 10 minutes only to be told they were out of all seafood except for 1 serving of fried shrimp. The food looked good and we might have tried them again on another visit to Hattiesburg, except for the fact that we went to another seafood restaurant that was out of this world good - so that's where we will go next time. I'm not posting the name in an attempt to be fair to Southern Seafood - but if you are interested just check my only other review for Hattiesburg.

Great food!, their Shrimp poboy are loaded with yummy fried shrimp, excellent taste and fills you up.. great price for what you get!!
