Had an amazing time at Sakura! The fish was fantastic quality and the rolls were creative. We also had a great server! This is a great place to satisfy all your sushi cravings in Hattiesburg.
Best sushi in hattiesburg and I’ve tried them all. Now this is the only place me and my wife visit when we’re wanting sushi. Building is dated but the service and sushi is always great.
The Cindy Roll is my favorite ?. I’ve been frequenting this place for years and I’ve never been disappointed.
Loved the food there. The place looked simple and nice. The service was good too. The mushrooms we ordered for appetizer was lovely.
We got there and were seated immediately. Served with drinks right away. We order the 5 course meal and it was just okay. Mid way through we had a waiter change and he came and asked if a plate of food was ours. We had no clue. He goes around asking everyone if it’s theirs and everyone says no. He comes back and places it on our table. Food quality was just okay. I’ve had better sushi and Asian food. Came home and both my husband and I feel off and our guts feel horrible. At least it came with ice cream - that was the highlight of our meal. I wish we would of had the sushi rolls but still the rolls were just okay as well

Definitely not what it use to be. Waiter was exceptionally rude and portions are incredibly smaller, especially the chirashi. Would have been willing to pay more for same portions as before. Rice bed not the same with chirashi, either. Doubt I'll ever drive across town again. Very sad, since we use to eat here every weekend when we lived on this side.
Do not fear, the look from the outside does not mirror the quality within. We almost turned around when we saw the place. Glad we didn't because it's the best sushi and service in town. You gotta go.
The service was excellent and the food was very good. We will be going back.
Not the worst place to visit. It's convenient but it is not somewhere I would visit on a special occasion. The building seemed dirty everywhere inside
