We had the gyros and the fried cheese everything was great including the service
While we were on vacation we chose places with outdoor seating since we had our dog with us. Petra's accommodates this. I had grilled shrimp wrap and husband had the catfish. Both were absolutely great. My husband couldn't believe he got such great catfish at a Greek/Mediterranean restaurant. Servers were very pleasant. Only disappointment was - when they turned on the outdoor lighting some kind of bugs were disturbed because they took over the place. We hurried with to-go boxes since we were about 90% finished. Would visit again.
The food is always soooooo good and they could not be nicer people! Love this place! I wish we lived closer! We always stop and get a bit to eat when driving through Hattiesburg!
Gyros, Greek salad, Petra burger all very good! Restaurant and restrooms very clean and service was very good. Our only objection is they appear to be understaffed-much like many other establishments are right now. Empty tables sat uncleared and our own table was not cleared when we finished our meal. Not appetizing to look at dirty dishes when you are being seated.
Even though they were packed with a huge gathering, the waitress had us feeling like we the only customers that n the place. She took very good care of us and kept our drinks full. My son ordered the lamb kabob and we ordered the Falafel and the chicken Shawarma. All were very well put together and tasted great. Can’t wait to return.
Petra has never disappointed! It's rare that my wife and our kids can all agree on a restaurant. Petra is one that we all agree and are always thrilled to enjoy the whole dining experience.

If you're looking for a nice, relaxing place to eat and this us the spot. Very clean establishment, friendly staff and service was fast.Food was amazing. According to my husband, the lamb chips melted in his mouth. He says the lamb died just for him and he appreciated the sacrifice.We will be back very and will definitely tell family and friends about this restaurant.
I ordered a lamb Gyro, my daughter ordered a beef gyro. Her was too spicy for her so we traded. The waiter saw this and inquired. When I explained he insisted on making me a new lamb gyro. He didn't charge us for it. Awesome service. And both gyros in my opinion were delicious. I totally recommend this place.
I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often! The dressing on the Greek salad was divine. We ordered a player, so we got to try a lot of different things. Everything was fresh and authentic. Loved it!
