I came here because Cracker Barrel was packed with a 35 minute wait time. It was not a terrible experience but overall I was not impressed with the food, service or atmosphere in general. I all fairness my son loved his burger and fries and I am particular about my salads. I also thought it was a little too pricey, considering it is less expensive to eat meals equal to or higher in quality at some other restaurants.
With prices increasing on just about everything now, some people have started eating out less. When a family eats out once per week now or once per month, they expect for the food to be worth the money they are spending. Our bill was $140. The food wasn’t even close to being worth that. The shrimp and chicken strips were obviously frozen because they were awful and chewy. Definitely not hand battered like the menu states. The steak was dry, macaroni tasted old and reheated. The only good food we had on our table were the ribs. There were 5 of us and the majority of what we ordered was left uneaten because it wasn’t good. The manager took our appetizer off the bill but just kept saying that he just got there so he didn’t know. You knew you were serving sub par food because it’s the same food you served the day before and the day before that. There were maybe 4 other tables the entire time we were there and we now know why. We left paying $91 for food that mostly was uneaten. The only good part of our visit was our waitress was outstanding. We won’t be returning.
This place is terrible. I stopped here on my way home on Thursday, May 5, 2022 around lunch time. I walked in and no customers were in there. I should have left then but I didn't. I sat at the bar and ordered a burger and a sweet tea. By the time I got my burger, a bunch of fruit flies started buzzing around. The burger wasn't very good either. The bartender apologized about all the flies and talked to me about how she hated working there. By the time I left, there was only one other couple that came in. I'm surprised that they are still in business. I'll never go go here again.
It was around 10:30PM when we arrived. It took about 20 minutes to get seated! It looked as if they were closed but they didn't close until 1 AM. I wasn't pleased with the service, wait of time to be seated. Whoever is the night manager here needs to be trained better in getting customers serviced!
Came in before the lunch rush…. Slowest server in the world….. the steak was the toughest cut of meat ever and of course… mgmt could have cared less…. We got one drink in 45 minutes… and then food was still incorrect coming out
The Staff is really friendly and nice environment
several factors as I am here right now. 1) server acted as if he did t want to be here just like thr whole staff. 2) food came our decently fast but the pasta was cool at best. 3) chicken and broccoli tortellini has no flavor and only 6 half pieces of chicken strips. 4) bathroom is disgusting. 5) was told the dishwasher there doesn't wash the dishes well. they give out plastic cutlery. 6) floor is dirty. 7) several missing ceiling tiles and very heavily dusty vents. I wouldn't be coming back anytime soon.
Poor poor service & food quality, the server about dumped our appetizers on the table when she just like tossed down the plates then just walked away. Had to ask two different servers for napkins and drink refills. Then my wife's food was brought out & I was told my burger was still cooking. I then waited another 7-10 mins before I got my "whisky glaze burger" which was just a bacon cheese burger they put sauce on the side in a plastic container. From time of finally ordering to when I got my food was about 45 mins close to an hour. I have a small child so by time I got my food set down it was already time to go so I just ended up putting it in a Togo box and not eating there and taking it home. To get home and then open up my Togo box and the entire bottom is just grease that had been dripping from the burger, so I cut it in half just to see if it was cooked all the way and IT WASNT! So I waited all that time for a raw grease patty. Completely disappointed and sick at the fact that I even spent the money, no I didn't even spend it just showed up to FRIDAYS TO WASTE MY TIME AND MONEY* Also the place had a musty bathroom smell throughout the entire establishment"**If I could give this NEGATIVE STARS ⭐ I WOULD***** I left this review because I wanted a genuine reaponse from somebody not some automated response from a computer, try again TGI
The food was delicious and the store is very clean however they don't acknowledge you when you come through the door. Several times I've been there and you'll see staff walking all about and we'll look up at you but no one will say "give me just a moment and we'll be right with you". There is no reason customers should stand and wait to be seated when the restaurant is not busy. The hostess should be at her station instead of in the back of the house. I love eating here but have this problem every time. Like I said if one of the service is there walking by what acknowledge the customer it wouldn't be so bad. Our server was a very nice guy. However we had to keep asking someone to please have him come check our table. We had to ask for a refill on a beverage. He took out a order, brought our order and then our check. There was one other table (with 1 customer at it) in his section.
The potato skins were supposed to have no bacon my husband does not eat pork so someone decided to scrap the cheese & bacon off & re-drop them in the fryer thinking no one would notice which made them very oily& able to eat & husband didn’t eat because he doesn’t eat porkSo they brought a new batch & they were even more oiler then the first batch& the one on burger was worseStaff seem to be lazy & not care
