Only gave a 1 ⭐️ because there isn’t a ZERO!!The lady that made the salad had one glove on and the hand holding the bowl she didn’t have a glove on and her thumb was in the bowl. We mentioned it, the young lady that brought our food out asked if I wanted it remade which the answer was yes. The pizza was soggy. The same lady who was making the salad with one glove and a brace on her left hand was wrapping silver ware with barehands, NO GLOVES.. just gross and unsanitary!
A no frill eatery serving good food. We liked that the shrimps in shrimp po boy were grilled, not fried. The cheesesteak was delicious. Lots of choices for choosing a side. Loved the crusty French bread used to make the sandwiches.
Newks Eatery was a good place to eat; The cashiers had good customers service which is an added bonus for me. The food is good, but the lines are long I guess its worth waiting on though.
You've got to be kidding me with the portion sizes that are served here. For almost $10 the pizza is about 7 inches or just around that. The sandwich is also about $9 and its size is equivalent to half of subway. I had called and asked for size before ordering and the person taking order didn't know what size they make. What a joke.
Ordered pizza and salad. Both were brought to table and looked great. Big salad. Hot pizza. I was mostly disappointed with the number of dirty tables and trying to find a clean one. There was hardly anyone eating, but there were several employees standing around. Considering the concern for preventing the spread of bacteria, I am surprised at the lack of sanitization in this eating establishment.
I liked the portabello veggie pizza more than the spicy shrimp pizza. The spicy shrimp pizza was not spicy. The veggie pizza had delicious herbs on it.Service was lacking.
Don't come here when they're busy came in a Sunday at 1 ordered a newk's q pizza and a pimento Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese came out cold with a very warm deceiving bowl, and the pizza was as limp as a wet spaghetti noodle but still delicious. I visited this location in the middle of the week twice and had 0 issues with food or service.
This location is very very busy. And they are busy like that all day all night every weekend all the time. It must mean that they are doing something right. Anytime that I have been there I have enjoyed myself and enjoyed my meal. If you're in the area and want newks This is the place to be.
First time eating there loved it! Potatoe soup and Flatbread sausage and pepperion pizza I really loved! I will be back!
The restaurant is busy during lunch time, you might have a bit of a wait. The Debra pizza is my favorite and really good (I love pesto). There are a lot of great items on the menu, soups, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. Over the years I have tried most of them.
