PLEASE DO NOT ORDER HERE IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN!!! We are from out of town and found the restaurant on Apple Maps as a nearby restaurant. I called the number from the app. We spent over a $100 for food in my opinion is over priced but hey. Called and the lady answering the phone didn’t know much and was asking somebody else about the questions I was having. Long story short we do not eat shrimps and the meal came with them. Not on the side as an appetizer should but right in the middle of the food. Now mind you I’ve never looked at the menu and just called in. I called back that night to address my issues but no answering. I came to the restaurant the next day and the “manager” on duty supposedly called the “owner” who was there last night and they did absolutely nothing!!! Now I was trying to necessary get my money back another meal without shrimps would’ve did the job. The “manager” was simply the host said that we’ll the girls have some many orders that they don’t know who is out of town as if that mattered. When the lady read my order back she could’ve simply said shrimps come in as an appetizer. I spent a lot of money just to put the order in the garbage. Lesson learned!!! We had two different orders for two families they didn’t order shrimps bc of us.
This is the best Hibachi I've been too and I've been to a few around the country. All the employees were friendly and welcoming. The portions were larger than I've seen at other places and tasted great. I know some older post complained about the egg drop soup but the bowl I had was outstanding and they put tempura flakes in it that just adds to the flavor. Johnny was amazing and explained the cooking process and each step, while entertaining us with his egg flip. I'm not a local but if I pass through Gulfport again I'm probably going to be stopping back by.
I was not sure what to expect, as this place is hidden in a strip mall beside Walmart. However, the restaurant is quite large on the inside and immaculately clean. We chose the hibachi side and got steak and chicken. It was fantastic! Everything was prepared properly and tasted great. We wound up playing an extra $6.00 to share a plate (sharing change covers soup and salad) and we still had food leftover. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
The food and waitress were excellent!! Our cook seem to be tired yet he still cook wonderfully!! I'm from Central MS visiting the coast and I would recommend based on the food!
Love the interaction with the chef! He was so funny until he started talking about someone taking his dog! Food was delicious!
This place was good and yummy to eat at
the food is really good, costs round $20 & up for a plate but it's soooo much food it's worth the price, will need a doggy bag to take the rest home there's no way u can eat all that food at one time
The food and the table cheif were great. Enjoyed it alot. The server was kind of slow. Never did get my salad. Took forever to get my root beer. In their defese it was Valentine's night and they were busy. We had 4 couples in their private room. Food tasted great and were ample portions.
Best snowcrab naruto with mango(mmph) on the coast in my opinion.Great food, great service (the staffers always so polite and pleasant), the ambient environment is a nice touch for dine in. Overall my favorite sushi/hibachi restaurant ever! Ignore the clutter in my picture. My son even loves the food. ♡♡
Me- when I ordered my lunch, I didn't realize that one of my portions would be in large chunks of raw fish. I do not like large portions of raw fish and I can't eat thisServer- *rolls eyes* and begins to walk to the next table...LIKE?? RUDE.Me- excuse me but it's pretty obvious that you're upset so I'll just take the check and a box.Server- *aggresively responds* so what do u want as replacement?!Me- I'll just take the check and box.He brings my check and forgets the togo box. I ask again and he finally brings it not saying a word.. never will I go back to Hibachi Express on lunch break again. The only thing I slightly enjoyed was the pork dumplings.
