Great fresh food! The gumbo is delicious, shrimp po-boys were awesome! Our table of 8 had various things and everything was really good! Service was fast and friendly too! Look forward to our next visit.
We decided to come here since we saw it on Diners, Drive ins and Dives and it did not disappoint!! They have the best gumbo I’ve ever had. I also highly recommend the shrimp poboy and Courtney’s seafood pasta. The service was awesome and so friendly! Definitely recommend coming here and we will so be back! ?

I have lived on the coast all my life and this was my first time going to the Blowfly Inn. It is in a beautiful waterfront location on back bay in gulfport in an off the beaten path location. I ordered the Justins buffalo shrimp burger and my girlfriend got blackened shrimp and broccoli. Everything was really good and the staff was very friendly! We will be back soon for the weekend speials. I spent most of the time looking out the window at fish hitting minnows..lol

Saw it on the Travel Channel and decided to try it!! First impression was that it was abandoned. But.....we went in and the place was nice with a nice view of Back Bay. Almost decided to leave. They use popcorn shrimp on the Po-Boy (personal preference is NOT popcorn shrimp) and they absolutely refuse to do substitutions of anything, even sides. Out of several things. Raw oysters must have been babies still. Portions were large and food was very tasty. Justin was very nice!

Consistently delicious food and friendly service. We go at lunch when we are in town for soccer tournaments and we always have great food and friendly service. The view is beautiful, too.
We enjoyed eating at this restaurant for the 1st time in 20 years. Wait staff are still so kind and efficient....and they allowed us to bring our fur babies!
Had the most wonderful experience here !! The atmosphere was peaceful, the servers attitude was so sweet and she was so attentive to me and my group , and then the food was absolutely amazing. It was literally the most perfect way to start out our prom night . So Thank you so much for such a great time !!
