Was seated and waited 20 minutes without anyone even taking our drink order. Asked someone about it and after several more minutes we left without any service, left to go to a competitor down the street. Really disappointing as we used to frequent the place. Seriously doubt we will return.
Terrible wait service and it hadn’t even gotten packed for cinco de mayo. Rude, argumentative, slamming things on table. Limes and water. I left most of the drink and food.
We had excellent service here and the food was incredible!! The patio is dog friendly so we were super excited. They even brought water for the dogs.The patio is beautiful so big thumbs up for that! The drinks were good and all of the food was delicious. The queso with beans in it was really good. Our waiter was awesome too. ?
First time eating here and it was fantastic! I wish the salsa was a little more mild. I ordered Victoria's Bowl and it was so good omg. Fresh and had a lot of flavor. He had the mushroom fajitas and he loved them. My only complaint was our waitress. She went missing and we barely saw her. Highly recommend tho.
My husband and I don't go out much because he works a lot due to the airforce. So we don't want to be disappointed, especially since we aren't familiar with the area. But, aztecas didn't disappoint. The prices are fair, the atmosphere is ok ( the live singing on Saturday was cool ). It was a bit loud but you can definitely tell that this place is loved by many people. Plus, the non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri and the Victoria bowl are pretty good.My husband got the san Miguel sampler and a margarita, which he really liked. He said the margarita tasted like strawberry lemonade.
The restaurant is beautiful, the service was amazing, but the food was okay. I’ve had authentic Mexican food in California and Texas, and the food doesn’t taste as authentic but it is hot and not bad either. The guacamole was creamy with no flavor and just the avocado which is the only thing I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for authentic guacamole. The 4 stars is based on previous experience, but being that this is Southern Mississippi I would recommend this restaurant because you would have a great experience and receive good hot food.
Waitr Order—Ordered fajitas and added cheese sauce, didn’t get cheese sauce. Didn’t get the regular cheese or sour cream either. Bag also wasn’t sealed shut with the “sealed for your safety” instead it was just stuck to the side of the bag.
Loved the design and feel of the atmosphere. The food was really good and the service was friendly.
