It was awesome loved the food the salad was so big had to bring some home the ultimate salad is the one to order go check it out
The worst experience I ever had in this flowood location is today 3/19/22, whoever prepared our order need to be out of the kitchen, we ordered 4 pizza, 2 of them looks over cooked maybe they are smaller sizes than the other two we ordered. The other two pizzas were not cooked all the way, and half of the pizza is not even cut, half of the pizza had majority of the vegetables the other half has basically no vegetables on there. It is also missing ingredients from the menu, and 2 pieces shrimp on my pizza are spoiled. Very disappointed! There isn’t a line in front of the register this time, it looks like they are not that busy as usual. If this is the quality of food we are getting from now on, we will not come back!
Ordered the combo pizza and it was the best tasting pizza I've had in a long time. Lots of great menu options.
We used to eat there several times a week but since they’ve eliminated most of their menu and all of our favorites, we only go there when we are extremely desperate! If they ever go back to the way they used to be we will go back. I hope they realize they are losing their old, loyal customers.
I placed an online order for 6pm. I arrived around 6:05 and went inside and told them I was here. The cashier let me know they were still working on it. No worries I had a seat. As I’m waiting I can hear the manager getting onto the kitchen staff, I assume one of the cooks was laughing and joking and the manager let him know it wasn’t a game or funny that there was an order that had been waiting 45 minutes. It really rubbed me the wrong way. It’s sad to have multiple people waiting for their food and your staff has not a care in the world regarding customer satisfaction. I finally received my order at 6:18 after going to my car and checking my order I had to return inside to get simples things that were left out. Will return again eventually- maybe by then management will have their staff under control.
I wasn’t impressed tonight! I spend 31 dollars on food just to be handed cold soup. I went up there to let them know that the soup was cold. They fixed my order but when the women came out to our table she was really rude. She didn’t say sorry about the soup being cold or anything. She just put it on our table and walked away. My bread on my sandwich was stale. I most likely will not be returning to this location. This use to be a wonderful place to come to.
Overall really good experience, pizza could have been done a bit more, and honey mustard dressing had some zing to it. Service was fast both at the front and in getting the food to the table at the dinner hour. Popular place as it filled up while i was there. Different for me as i have never been to one of these Newk's before.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm a big girl and when I peeked at the Greek Salad I ordered on the way home, I thought it wasn't going to be worth it. BOY WAS I WRONG!! That bowl was a lot deeper than I realized, and I ordered some extra stuff on it. They LOADED THAT BOWL DOWN!! I couldn't even eat it all tonight. I have a new salad obsession: Greek salad at Newk's. YEEEEESSSSS!
I am a big fan of Newks Flowood. It is one of my favorite places to eat. I dine in a lot and occasionally take out. I’ve always been satisfied with the food and service. But that has changed. I’m still very much satisfied with the food. But there are things that concern me. When picking up takeout one day, there was a young lady applying her lip balm while standing in the middle of the prep area. This girl also was walking around with her hands in her pockets. Were those hands going to touch the food that was being served? On another occasion I observed two different people in the prep area on their cell phones. It is well known that a cell phone is one of the most unsanitary things that a person touches. Were those hands going to touch food that is being served? Last but not least, my food was brought to my table by a surly young man wearing a hood, and pants that he wore below his waist. Do these observations reflect their training? Unfortunately, because of incidents like this, I may have to consider if I will continue being a regular diner at Newks.
Exceptional customer service. Our waiter went out of their way to put our doggie bags on ice since we would not be able to refrigerate our left overs for some time. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
