Ouster’s were delicious!! Portobello mushrooms were full of flavor. My daughter got the chicken Alfredo; she don’t like sea food. The shrimp and grits were perfect. Price was ok. We did get a dessert but could get a pic, my daughter got to it first.
I was highly disappointed because I drove almost an hour to get these extra small oysters. And on top of that they were gritty, I was actually chewing sand and had to keep spitting it out! Not to mention they even went up on the price. Very disappointed.
The Oysters Bienville we're really good. We got the half dozen, but we should have ordered a dozen. The grilled pineapple jalapeno margarita with a grand Marnier floater was good. I just wish the jalapenos in the drink had more heat, but it was still good. The snapper was good and the sweet potato creme brulee is always good. My wife got the cheese grits but they were really runny this time. That was the only negative to the meal. She said her Royal Redfish and greens were really good. This is always solid for a good seafood meal. Cree, our server was 10/10.
Just ate here for lunch. We had fried oysters, blackened Mahi, and seafood pasta. All dishes were delish. The Mahi wasn't really blackened but I didn't feel like sending it back. The sauce that came with it was incredible. Overall good food at decent price for lunch.
Food was delicious, server was unattentive. Came over saw us talking, clearly waiting to order and drops off an appetizer and almost runs off until we mentioned we were ready to order.
First time here and EVERYTHING was awesome! Food, drinks and service was great.
Ordered a dozen Bienville oysters last night, takeout. The oysters were overcooked (burnt), large salt rocks were baked on top of my oysters (which I had to pick out to consume), and small shells were attached underneath (some of these were also inside the oyster). I’m always excited to visit Half Shell when I come into town from, but I’ve never had oysters like this. Especially since they’ve upped the price. I paid $28 for these, only to be disgusted and have to drink bottles of water to make the pieces of shell and salt rocks go down my throat! I spent too much not to try to eat em. Very disappointed.
Love raw oysters! The manager is the best! Great service and food is out of this world!
There has been a price increase on the classic martini, the charbroiled oysters, and the raw oysters that are not reflected on the menu! Not a big deal for us this visit, but just a heads up to those who might be unaware. Emily was the bartender and our waitress and she did a phenomenal job. Heads up to the management. We expect prices to match the menu!!! This place has great charbroiled oysters, raw oysters, and oyster po-boy.
service was great and the food was excellent. loved my voodoo shrimp poboy.
