food was fresh and delicious. and the staff kept the bar food.
It's a buffet so, be sure to come hungry. The food is good but, not outstanding. For what you pay, it is hard to complain. Like a lot of folks, I go there for the steaks. They are okay but again, not great. I like my steaks to be well seared on the outside and pink in the middle. The grill that they use just does not get hot enough (or is not turned up high enough) to sear the meat on the outside. This tends to leave the steak a little "rubbery" in my opinion. There is a large variety to include a large dessert spread, complete with a soft ice cream dispenser. Leave the tight fitting jeans at home... ?
Has the best buffet around.. some really friendly waitresses, employees all the way around. My husband and I eat there for $ 25.00,. You can't hardly go anywhere else and eat that cheap. We go to the Mexican restaurant here at home every now and then and we can't get out of there for less than $45.00 . We are going back tomorrow to Jackson Ms and we will eat supper there.

I went on 2/28/22 and when we arrived all the tables were dirty...took 15 minutes before anyone came to the area to clean and seat us. I'm disabled and I got up to the Buffet got me a burger, okra, mexican rice and green peas very light lunch I was holding my Cane and carrying my lunch someone bumped me I almost dropped my plate a worker seen me struggling and walked right by me.I then sit down and the first bite of my burger was completely raw throughout the whole thing..3 attempts to get chicken or fish they ran out due to 3 bus loads of school children....so I just sat there I paid but didn't get to eat I literally just drank 2 cups of Tea, I tried again still waiting on them to restock Buffet took to long so we left..This was my first ever bad experience here usually they're good but not TODAY???The one young lady that did come and ask me what's wrong I tipped her $10 just because she showed concern it wasn't even her area but I Thank her
My family and I went there thinking we was going to have a nice dinner, but to our surprise we did not. We get inside waiting in line on to see another family made their purchase and upon this the gentlemen did not receive his cup for a drink. He ask the host at the register for his cup and he declined to give it to him. Things turned to a situation that could have been easily resolved. When the host decided not to give the customer his cup that he paid for words was passed. The customer continued to ask for his cup, long story short the host refused and called the police. The police comes and the customer explains everything and they tell him that he's making a big scene and arrest him. Host made a DUMB decision, all he had to do was give him his cup and continue with other customers that was watching and waiting. When this happens many customers decide to leave due to the fact that the host was in the wrong. My family and I decided to eat somewhere else and it was great. Golden Corral love your buffet, but I will never eat at your buffet in Flowood. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, NEED TO GET RID OF THE HOST
The food was good. The restrooms needed to be cleaned. Approaching the entrance, you could smell urine and the floors were dirty. Our waitress checked on us, but was very slow about doing things. She would take her time after engaging in lengthy conversations with her coworkers.
Food was terrible and definitely wasn’t worth the money. It was $15 per person WITHOUT a drink. It was $19 per person with a drink for less than average tasting food. They didn’t even have the entire bar filled up. Then you had to pay MORE for a togo cup after paying just about $20 for your meal and drink. Also, you can’t even leave a tip unless you leave one ahead of time with your card if you don’t carry cash and the cashier doesn’t let you know that ahead of time. Our server was great and very friendly.
Customer service was terrible. There wasn’t a good selection of food.The food was dry bland and tasteless. They floors was nasty and the kitchen was nasty. Would not recommend this place!!!!!
THIS RESTAURANT IS TRULY DISGUSTING! THE FOOD WORKERS HAD ATTITUDES AND THE KITCHEN WAS HORRIBLE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE UNLESS YOU ARE HOMELESS
