friendly service, excellent food and large portions!
Hard to give a thorough review due to the unique nature of my visit. First, I was with a party of 20 and second their AC was out and the temperature in the restaurant was not what you could normally expect. Disregarding all of the above here is my review of the things that matter the most.Staff were friendly and accommodating to our large party. Our waiter was fantastic. He stayed on top of refilling chips and drinks. All orders came out as ordered and in a timely manner.The food was great. Everything I tried was really good and tasty. Everyone in our party was happy with their food.The negative for me or the one thing that would keep me from returning is the prices of the food. I eat my fair share of food in Mexican Restaurants around Flowood and Madison and my family of 4 on average spends approximately $52 per outing. Looking over the menu we immediately saw the price difference. Total cost minus the added gratuity for our large party was around $80.For us, we will stick to the restaurants we like to frequent but if anyone is curious their food is really good. Overall a great experience.
Really enjoyed lunch here. Fajitas and margaritas. Happy hour $3.99 margaritas and they did NOT skimp on the alcohol. It's a creeper. Lol. The salsa was also very good with the perfect amount of heat.
From start to finish my experience at this restaurant was phenomenal. Walking in, we were IMMEDIATELY greeted and seated (though we were a party of 8 and they were packed). The service was phenomenal! Within minutes of being seated, we ordered drinks, and our meal and it was placed in front of us HOT AND DELICIOUS in less than 5 mins. Before our complimentary chips were out and we even had time to have a need, our waitress brought us a new basket. A spill was made, they IMMEDIATELY and with joy cleaned it thoroughly! They were quick to have refills and provide the check in a timely manner. The manager like his team was also GREAT! I was so impressed I asked specifically for him to compliment their service. Even this request was fulfilled in less than a minute. We were even sent off with a complimentary key chain and Cinco de mayo tshirt. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and visit again very soon!
Got a seat as soon an we walked in. Instant chips and salsa ok. Got greeted by our server instently and ordered a michilada(boucher the spelling). She was really confused everytime I tryed to order something.Cheese dip 11$ it's not that good. I really enjoyed the fajita that I ordered. The drinks were good, well made. They were really pretty. The server never came back to the table after getting the food which I was very displeased. Getting the check was hard but pay was a breeze.The greating at the door was non existent. The servers was par. The bar drinks were good. The check was hard to get. The pay was easy. The food was good but the cheese dip over rated, priced. All in all it was okay.
Excellent. I tried the pork and it was tender and delicious with just the right seasoning. My wife had the taco salad which had a most unusual flavor but very nice. Portions are huge. It would get 5 stars but decor and age of furnishings were detracting. Don't let that drop you from trying though. We will definitely go back to try some of the dishes we had never seen before on a Mexican menu.
My family and I love coming here. On our last visit, service was top notch. Julio took care of us. He kept our cups full, replenish our chips, and check on us throughout our visit. Food was good as well. We got the spinach enchiladas, chicken and steak fajita salad, a chicken burrito, and kids pizza.
Staff was friendly and kind. The food was pretty tasty. It was a little bland but the wait to receive our meal was not over 25 minutes. The waitress me and my date had made great eye contact and was attentive to our table. I would come back here again for sure.
The food is not even that good and they want to over charge you. I will never come back! It was 5 years since I been there and hell will freeze over before I come back. If I could give half a star I would!!!
The wait staff were good but the food was not. The salsa had absolutely no flavor. It was so this it was like tomato juice with not a hint of onion, cilantro or jalapeno. I ordered the spicy shrimp. They were nice size larger shrimp but again no spice/kick or real forgot on the sauce. Definitely cannot recommend if you like Mexican food.
