Well, I don’t know how this place has such high ratings. Honestly I was not impressed. The service was great but the food was mediocre. The catfish was crispy but had no flavor, the fries, shrimp, and hush puppies were straight out of a bag. The green beans were obviously canned. The best part of the meal was the fried pickle chips. Being from Louisiana, I expected more out of my neighbor across the river. If you’re easily impressed, enjoy, if you’re a true connoisseur, seek life elsewhere.
Excellent steaks and Catfish. Everything was prepared just right.Love that they have smaller steaks for ladies and kids. Our server Libby was so friendly and thorough. They were extremely busy but no one missed a beat. Oh and the chocolate cobbler is to die for. Thank you Libby

We are new to the area, but we saw the large number of cars in the parking lot and figured it was a popular place to eat. We had a short wait, but the service was very attentive and our burgers were hot, tasty and made to our specifications.
Good food at great prices. Service was also superb!!! I had the whole catfish and really enjoyed them. Everything that everyone at the table ordered looked great. They were easily able to handle our party of 12 with no problem.
