Prejudice and hatred are still very real. My husband took me to breakfast at the Pitstop in Corinth, Ms this morning and I wanted pancakes. I am of African descent. The server told me that they were preparing lunch on the grills so I couldn’t have pancakes. So I ended up ordering a biscuit which I hated because it was COLD and was offered NO butter for the biscuit. It was 10:05 am. Breakfast doesn’t end until 10:30 and then lunch starts. A Caucasian woman came in to eat and she ordered pancake and was served a nice fresh and hot pancake. I made it known in a very polite way that my skin color may be brown but God created me just as special as they are. . Then I blessed them by leaving a tip for the server and telling them that I love them with the love of God. I shed a few tears behind that one. Hurtful still. God sees all

We stopped by the drive through for a biscuit after seeing good reviews. We were just passing through on our way to Georgia. We both ordered a tenderloin biscuit. I’ll give them one thing….the biscuit is huge! It was very dry though. The most off putting part was the tenderloin itself. It had zero….I do mean ZERO seasoning! Bland and tasteless. A little salt and pepper would have gone a long way….just saying. ?

THE PITSTOP at 726 S. Tate St is a Wonderful and caring restaurant, After the horrible wind storms came through Corinth on 04/13/22 my Aunt who is a senior had been without power and water since then so she really needed a warm meal. I reached out to The Pitstop and they quickly put a meal together for her with hot coffee and even water and took it to her at 6:30am telling her to call if she needs anything. I can't thank them enough. They are even more special..Their credit card machine was down, I'm 600 miles away and they told me not to worry about the payment and to settle up next time I'm in town. AMAZING. " I'm sending it to them today" They could not have been more helpful, My Aunt said the breakfast was delicious. Please visit them, enjoy their delicious food, they are truly spectacular.

The tenderloin and biscuit is what I come here for but it's not as good as it use to be. Thinner meat and not as flavorful as before. Still priced reasonably though.

Wonderful food and good friendship workers pleased every time we visit
