Service was fast and food was good. I was able to call in because they have more than one phone. Didn't have the frustration of trying to get past a busy signal.

If you are looking for an awesome sub sandwich, there is no one that has a better one than Little Dooey. I love the country atmosphere. The employees are very nice, and it's nice and clean every time I'm there. I wish they stayed open later, but not many in Columbus does anyway. If you haven't eaten here, I definitely think it's worth your time to try.
Sat on hold for half an hour with no one answering the phone. Finally drove to the store to place an order. Had to wait another half hour for food. It was lunch, but they were not that busy. Finally got the food and found that the person who took my order specified no sauces on all three plates without asking me. Had to stop the person who finally delivered the food to me in the lobby to get them to give me sauces. This was the worst experience I've had at any Lil Dooey establishment
Went to east Columbus restaurant today for lunch. I got the small hamburger, my husband got the pulled smoked chicken. His chicken was so dried out it had sharp edges. Inedible. I would be ashamed to serve that to a customer if that were my store. My son got chicken tenders, which were really good, large helping, nice and hot. We used to eat here a good bit, but we are switching to the Highway 45 location.

The food is wonderful. However, they almost never answer their phones, so one cannot place a go order. Often when I go in the cahsiers are laughing about having one line calling another line so they both ring busy. I think I overheard one cashier saying she used her cell ohhone to clock yet another line because they were tired of anwering the phone. Not a great way to run a business even if the food is great. Right this second, the phone has been ring fo 4 minutes with no answer.... I'd be hiring new staff, for sure. And I'm going elsewhere for lunch - somewhere they will answer thier phones so I don't have to spend a lot of time waiting on my order. smh.
