My salad was brown they didn’t put my bacon bits on it. I asked for a loaded baked potato and got loaded mashed. My waitress took her time on refills, bringing things back to the table and even coming getting my payment. The steak tasted like a half marinated pork steak. It tasted far from a ribeye. I think my glass of ice water was by far the best thing I ordered.
I really love their homemade cheese sticks ! They go great with my Pineapple Margarita and the Pineapple Moscow Mule ! They have always had awesome food !! Like chicken tenders, catfish or even the house burger ! The Blackened steak melt was awesome good despite it not being what I thought it be ! But my fries on it was fresh out of the fryer ! My bartender was a lot better than last Friday , her pours was spot on , because last Friday, the first pineapple Margarita was correct but the second one was way over poured , it was almost like taking a shot ! I came because of the food! But to the bartender defense, between the servers standing at service bar and the other other bartender going around her cause her to over pour ! I tried to get them to remake it but the one who distracted her looked at me like she didn’t understand! That why I came in at lunch I made it known that the second. Margarita last Friday was over poured ! Y’all redeemed yourself! Your bartender was awesome today !
I live in the Birmingham AL area now but Harveys never disappoints. I was coming to visit my parents and to meet with someone and we chose to eat there. The broccoli bites were divine as usual. The mozzo sticks were huge and the breading was light but crisp--like a flour breading. I got the creamy chicken noodle soup and the beef tips and rice. The soup was hearty and fresh. The beef was seasoned perfectly and the rice was well made-not over or under-cooked, clumpy or gummy. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Columbus.
Great atmosphere- all food we ordered was great, only one complaint- baked potato was shriveled up- looked to be nuked. Not not much potato in there when forking it. Other than that we really enjoyed 👍
Wanted appetizers and drinks. Got a appetizer and one drink each. Never saw the waitress again, until we stopped the bartender and told her that we needed our check and then it took fourteen minutes to get it.
the atmosphere and staff were awesome. even tho there was a small hiccup when our food came everyone did their best to correct it. the food was great
This was my first experience of a high-end restaurant in Mississippi and I was really blown away. Everything was prepared and to our table in no time at all. The food was absolutely delicious. My drink was made as requested. The service was incredible. We will be returning soon to try more menu items.
Harvey’s is an amazing hidden gem in Columbus, MS. This restaurant definitely captures the flavors and personality of the south. This spot is conveniently located in downtown Columbus next to the Tombigbee river. I had the shrimp risotto and we had the crawfish pimento dip as an appetizer. This restaurant also has several wine flights to choose from. The one pictured here is The Northwest.
I’m in love! The salmon cobb salad is fantastic! Highly recommend this place- very swanky vibe as well!
