I’ve always enjoyed eating here and the food has been great. I decided to stop in on Saturday and I ordered a 10” veggie pizza. I swapped out olives, mushrooms and artichoke hearts for jalapeños, pepperocini peppers and spinach since I don’t like those veggies. When I got my bill I had an extra charge. I asked my server and she said it was cause I subbed veggies. Huh?! All 3 veggies I substituted were the regular ones and not premium or ultimate ones. I can see getting charged for say fresh basil, mozzarella or sun dried peppers or say a meat. I’ve never been charged at other pizza places when I’ve subbed out veggies for veggies. I do wish I’d been given a heads’ up that there’d be an extra charge for swapping out vegetables.
I went here with my family for Saturday night dinner, and everything was PERFECTLike, it was cooked perfectly, it was aesthetically pleasingHighly recommended
I can remember numerous times throughout my life when I used to go to Cj's and have an amazing experience every single time. However, the last 2 to 3 years have just been downhill for the place, and over the last 8 months our 3 visits weren't very good at all. The first 2 times the staff were just messing around with each other and slacking off instead of making sure customers were taken care of. That in its self isn't a huge deal but the second time we had a problem with how the food came out and the server never came and checked in or even took notice. The last time we came the food wasn't awful but it took forever, and we ended up just having to eat at home. We arrived at around 6:30-ish and didn't get our food until around 7:30. We were the only people dining in. Nobody told us what was up, or gave us an update. I think the manager was the bearded fella at the bar, and he didn't say a word, not an apology or anything. I work in food service, and I get that sometimes things are just slow, but I at least expect a check up, or an estimate from somebody. We have been repeat customers for years, but I guess that eventually you have to give a place up, especially when it seems like all they do is make excuses for themselves about why they are subpar in responses to reviews. At some point you have to stop blaming the pandemic for the problems your having, and make some changes in management or something. However I don't think this will happen.
I was really disappointed in our visit Friday afternoon. Our pizza was burnt, no one came by to check on us. Always order a large pizza so we can take some home. But not last night. The young lady was worried about either. Phone line never works when you call to place a to go order. ?
Went there today for the first time in a long time :) Got fried ravioli, some amazing pizza with feta and meatball toppings (ask for some fresh basil to go with it!), and the best cannoli I've had in many, many years for dessert. Everything was great; the pizza crust was nice and thin and crispy. Highly recommended!
Took my new Girl friend to CJ's for some pizza and Garlic Knots last week and WOW was it good. Best Pizza I've had in a long time. Then went to another place and while the Pizza was good, the personal touch just wasn't the same. CJ's is the only place for good times and Pizza all rolled into one. And the beer was cold too.
We love CJs! We have always gotten delicious pizzas and salads! The rock and roll is our favorite! They hold a special place for us because we ate there after our engagement and they made a special heart pizza for us. Then they catered our rehearsal dinner which was perfect and fun!
Always had a great experience at CJ’s. Great owners and servers. There’s time that the wait time is little longer but that was because they only have one waitress running and place was pack, so it’s very understandable. My family love CJ’s. Their spaghetti meatballs is to die for.
This is such a great place. My family and I love it. They have always been great. We will always support local and CJ’s is on the top of that list. Thanks for always going above and beyond.
Having been born and raised in Brooklyn NY, it's hard to find a good pizza that's crispy, not overly saucey or doughy. It's great when a place can throw a ton of topping on and call it a 'pizza' but a GOOD pizza is in the dough, sauce and cheese.CJ's gets it right. They're leaders in the community and are incredibly supportive of the AFB up the road.
