Very disappointed. First time to go in & dine. I've always just called ahead & picked up my food. The entire place is not only nasty but very unorganized. And whoever is working behind the bar has no idea what they are doing!! Won't be coming back to Applebee's in Columbus, Ms!! Terrible experience.
Not having eaten at an Applebee's for at least a dozen years and only having done it once before I had a pretty low opinion of their food and their menu. Friends of mine wanted to go to the Applebee's and Columbus so I said okay because that's where they wanted to go and I have to tell you that surprisingly the food was quite good I did play it safe I ordered buffalo wings and french fries but others got pasta dishes and steak and they all ate every bite on their plate so I'm going to have to revise my opinion on the food it was actually pretty good. They do need some help with their cocktails however I ordered a White Russian which I sent back because they made it with Creme de coco way too much of it instead of Kahlua and it was not good. A friend of mine got a daiquiri and it was mostly Frozen slushy stuff very colorful but very little liquor
Normally don’t make bad reviews. But today we stopped in for happy hour, only ones happy were employees, too busy playing and cutting up to attend customer service. My Macho Margarita was not so macho no salt, no fruit and not much tequila.Appetizers were brought out and no plates to be service on. Seriously! We only do this once and a blue moon but this was a major disappointment.
The food was hot and delicious. The service was awesome. Even the manager came over to speak to our small group.
All day, everyday!Even if I have a bad experience at Applebee's, another employee will absolutely make my day before I leave.And who doesn't love their boneless wings and Mucho margaritas???Uh, hello!
It was a 3 hour waiting period so I ended up at another place with my family and friends I love Applebee's they have great food I hate we couldn't eat there maybe next time ?
Asked for a booth. Told I would get one. Waited 35 minutes (not their fault...I understand restaurants) got seated at a table. Asked for a baby carseat holder. Was never given one. I asked multiple times. Then we waited more than 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Food took about 45 minutes to get out. Steaks were cooked wrong. We weren't given any silverware, and when we asked for that, we waited even longer. I work as a waitress. I've NEVER let that go that long.
I haven’t eaten at this establishment for a while because the food wasn’t good the last time I visited. Today was totally different. I was nearby so I dropped in. Barely got seated until the manager asked about my drink order and promptly brought it himself. It was great to see this staff work as a team. All of them helped each other seemingly with pleasure. It was great seeing this teamwork for a change. My food was absolutely delicious! I loved the wonton appetizer as my main course! Everything was very fresh. Server very friendly as well. I will be back soon.
It's was ok, a little slow with taking ur order, but it's still a nice place to unwind, pick up the past Applebees ? but u r ok, I'll come back, ??????
I personally love the brisket quesadillas and the warm chocolate cake with extra ice cream. It's always clean and the staff is so sweet every time I go. If you're wanting a steak, go to Ole' Hickory, Golden Horn, or Rubens. Trust me. I'm a connoisseur of useless knowledge?
