Came in this morning at 9am for breakfast , two people in the place sitting down at separate tables some guy look like he might have been the cook in the kitchen. The woman that had the breakfast sandwich in front of her told me I could sit where I wanted to. So I did. I turned to look to see if anyone was coming over to get my drink order and happen to catch the eye of the cook he never said a word to me. Never saw anyone else. I got up and walked out too many other places to eat where your treated like they want you to be there. Whoever owns this place needs to lock the doors. I want be back. First impressions are everything to me and I want spend my money where businesses don't want me to spend my money. Spillway diner doesn't want are need the customers!!! LOL!!!
Staff was very friendly. The cooks work hard. They work together and it shows. The Mgr came out smiling and talking to everyone who dine in and even cooked. The restaurant was clean inside as well as outside in the parking Lott. I was shocked to see their tip cup empty because the food is really good. Maybe no one saw it but i was sure to show my appreciation.
Nice place to eat, very friendly and caring worker. Base on what I saw the manager really spend time to know the well-being of the people coming there to eat which is so loving and caring.
Great breakfast spot! Since opening the management has progressively updated the layout and the menu. The omelette’s are really tasty and fluffy. Great service. Clean. Good atmosphere. Open early.
My husband and I wanted to try something different and this spot did not disappoint!! We are “reviewers” to determine if we would visit a restaurant. I am so glad we did not look at the reviews for spillway. This place is a hidden gem. We will definitely be back!! Service food and atmosphere were great. The Philly omelet is to die for!! The tomato gravy was delicious!! We will be back!!
Busy or not, we always receive great service and food! I love the cute diner atmosphere. We only go for breakfast, but it is really good! I also love their coffee.

Went this morning and the parking lot was crowded. Had only a five minute wait. The first impression is a Waffle House that has been converted into a diner. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Coffee and water wer there very quickly. My wife and I split a veggie omlet which was good. We asked for extra cheese on top, it didn't come that way. Hasbrowns and grits were pretty generic. The outstanding feature was actually the whole wheat toast. It was really very good. The meal for the two of us was around $12.
