The 2 stars are really generous, but my friends wings were ok. The 1/3 cup of shrimp & spinach dip $11.99 was totally inedible. This was a to go order. When Frank checked the to go bag, they had left out my $27.99 entrée…..a lesson to all of us to always check your bag before leaving the restaurant. That will save u a return trip. I had looked forward to an early supper all day, but everything was stone cold & unfit to eat by the time Frank got home from the restaurant because everything was sitting in the to go bag while they prepared the forgotten entrée. Don’t know if we will ever darken those doors again. They have plenty of business so it’s not like my business matters to Shaggy’s.
We went to the Shaggys on the Rez and our bartender Kyle was awesome and was a true mixologist. Chico Bean was the best Manager you could ask for. If your ever down that way ask Kyle for the “floater” in your drink at the bar!
Great time. Wait time was normal. Around 30 minutes. Staff was amazing! We ordered shrimp platters. $15.99. They ask if you would like white cheese sauce for $1. Making you think it will be one small bowl. Instead they give you a pill cup of it and on each ordered plate. So $2 extra for enough cheese to dip 6 fries into. So skip the cheese scam.The view was amazing. The platter was decent. They took the fried oysters off the menu and added Gator. Huge disappointment. Got the Miami Vice for $9. Love this drink. Make it a double shot for $4 more. They really should drop the drink prices. Portions seemed smaller than last time we visited. Prices were higher. We did enjoy our visit but will only be back from time to time. If they would realize this isn’t Florida and you would gain so much repeat business if you didn’t try and gouge the customer at every turn. Man I miss The Dock.
We loved Tamicia! She was so nice and had great conversation. She made sure we had a great experience and enjoyed our food and drinks. We will definitely be back and will be requesting her as our waitress!
My husband just took me to Shaggy's for my birthday. I've been before and never had any issues. Tonight they went above and beyond though. We had drink refills before asking. And they also embarrassed me by singing happy birthday to me. Such a fun birthday and I was so impressed with the food tonight. My husband even said it was his favorite birthday meal we have had together in our 7.5 years together.5 stars for the peach jalapeño margarita
The location is great, the view of the sunset over the lake was very nice, the pull up dock for the boats to come and eat was neat to see in action. I chose the shrimp Alfredo and was really disappointed, there was really no flavor to the sauce, the shrimp was good, but I had to add way too much salt just to make the rest of the meal some what enjoyable to eat. My other two guest both got the shrimp trio and that looked great and they enjoyed it. For appetizers we had the fried pickles , chips and salsa with cheese dip which was all great eats as well. It took a little longer than we liked for food and drinks, but the place was packed and I’m sure they like many places were understaffed, with that the staff was great and friendly. Final notes if you like a authentic Alfredo flavor, don’t get the shrimp Alfredo, cause at least on this visit they skipped the flavor. Would definitely return, with a different meal selection.
Confusing bar experience. Mixed service staff with some being less than helpful and others being very helpful. Food was average quality with a price consistent with that. Take care to eat inside after sun down. The insects swarm when the lights turn on. Nice atmosphere before they though.
My family and I had a wonderful time at Shaggy’s! ! The view is breathtaking- drinks were phenomenal and omg the coconut shrimp are Devine!! Jill and Ginger took awesome care of me, gave me some good laughs , and overall made it a great experience! Definitely will be coming back to see my girls! Y’all go check them out! Jill and Ginger will get you right!!
I was at Shaggys on the rez yesterday 4/29 ticket no# 519 table 81 for dinner and I will say I was not happy. I was told that the shrimp are precooked by the floor supervisor with her boss standing by. So my question is are they re cooking frozen precooked sea food and serving it as fresh. I had problems with my meal, shrimp I felt were over cooked and under cooked my server was wonderful Ms Sheri actually made the meal turned a not so nice experience into a better one.
My food was half cooked bacon should never be served half cooked and the shrimp were not cooked won't be back
