The food is beyond great but customer service is horrible. The lady has an attitude every time I come in. My baby grabbed an extra cup not knowing I had gotten her one and the lady scolded her and snatched the cup. I paid in cash one time and she did not give me my change. So I said something and it took a few minutes for her to even acknowledge me. She kept 3$ of what I was supposed to get back. I know it’s not a lot but it’s still not “great customer service”. As said before, food is awesome but that lady needs an attitude adjustment if she wants to work in a restaurant environment.
The food is fine, but the real problem is the customer service. My wife placed an order online and I went to go pick it up. I walk in and the woman who I have seen running the main counter in the front is sitting down at one of the booths and doesn’t bother to acknowledge I came in. Grand scheme of things, not a big deal, but something I noticed from my restaurant experience as an employee.I wasn’t sure if my wife had paid online yet, and the bags were all up in the same general spot. I began looking for my wife’s name on the bags. The lady then starts shouting at me that I “can’t take” any of these bags. I 1000% get that there are probably some people who take it and that’s all good, but don’t yell at customers.I explained I didn’t know that it wasn’t paid yet as she snatched it out of my hand muttering under her breath. I said “excuse me?” Hoping that this wouldn’t turn into an issue, and she just said the price and set my change on the counter and walked away. This is the 4th time I have had aloof service from this restaurant, and I totally get if you’re having a bad day, but from the same person, 4 times in a row, that’s just bad customer service. It’s something that needs to be made known. I definitely am not giving money to a place that treats its customers like this. I know the customer isn’t always right, but at least show kindness when we walk in the door.
Aweful service and undercooked food. Was told I could take my undercooked scallops back home and cook them myself or they could try and cook them again. I left it all there after making a 2nd trip to get the order right. DO NOT RECOMMEND! $40 down the drain.
I paid $6.75 on DoorDash for the Crab Egg Roll. It was listed as 4 egg rolls and when I received my order it was only one egg roll cut into fourths. The advertisement at this restaurant is shady and vague at best.
I can't speak about the service as I ordered through Grubhub. The food though was so very good. Whatever the sauce is it's amazing. I had various sushi rolls and dipped them in the sauce. So good! This was my first time ordering there and I wasn't disappointed. I'll definitely be ordering from here again soon! I'm so full...Edit: A week went by and I couldn't help it, had to order again. Nothing's changed. Still good. Carry on.
The sushi here is pretty dang good for the price. Rest is blah. Really cheap food for a really cheap price.

The lady at the front is extremely rude and racist. I will never use this establishment again!!! Do not waste your time here there are plenty of other places in Rankin County you will have a better experience. Also they try to delete the bad comments to raise their score but the majority of people can’t be wrong about an experience. I wish I could give them a zero star!!!!

I have never had a great experience with OEC. The lady upfront has always been extremely rude. The food is okay, but a bit overpriced for quality. If the customer service was better, I would eat here. But i would recommend going to Bonfire grill or another OEC location.
