Family fun for adults and kids. We had the best experience celebrating the Birthday Boy?We were greeted by a dancing ostrich at the gate and amazed how well the animals behaved. Also ate the buffett and it was awesome!!! Grabbed some Highland cupcakes to go. We shall be back it was a wonderful experience.
So today I drove through the Safari! It’s worth every Penny! The animals are friendly and will eat the food out of the cups, especially the Zebras! This was my Belated birthday present to myself. I will definitely do this again. Highly recommend it for any animal lover!
If you're looking for a delicious, steakhouse experience, look no further than McClain's Steakhouse. I was seated promptly with my reservation on Open Table, and our appetizers and salads arrived quickly. The Caesar salad was crisp and cold, with delicious, fresh lettuce. The wedge salad looked appetizing too. But the real star of the show was my 8 oz filet steak, which was prepared perfectly to medium well. The creamed spinach was also a real treat - hot, flavorful comfort food at its best. After dinner, we shared a slice of cheesecake for dessert, and it was simply amazing. The perfect way to top off an already perfect anniversary evening.

It was our first visit. We had an awesome time. 16yo and 7 yo kids toured the free petting zoo and we drove our Honda Accord thru the $15 each safari. It was worth the car wash and vacuuming afterwards. We paid an extra $3 to feed the otters and an extra $3 to feed the animals in the petting zoo. We didn't see the otters, so they gave the minnows to the ducks. They ❤ed every minute. Oh and the food was delicious. I went back for seconds on the Mac and Cheese. I am a pescatarian and was pleased ? .
Steakhouse was excellent. Good service from Andrew and meal was ranked about the best around. The filet was top Notch with sauted mushrooms and loaded baked potato. The bread pudding was killer and priced right. Reasonable meal for what you get. Make a reservation and try it out.
The kiddos and I had a blast on our safari tour in the McClain Jeep! Highly recommend renting it because the animals make a mess with the food! So many VERY friendly animals. We laughed so hard and had the best time! This gem is only minutes from our home in Sandhill.
Great place for family bonding! Buffet lunch was really delicious - very comforting Southern food. I particularly enjoyed the sweet potatoes, creamy corn, corn bread, fried chicken and the bread pudding. Had a wonderful time with the animals at the petting zoo area. They were so adorable and very friendly! The kids enjoyed this experience a lot! We will definitely come back.
We have been several times to take the grands. They ❤️ being able to be up close and personal while feeding the animals. The buffet is amazing and the Country Store is always stocked with the best goodies. This is a great weekend day trip for anyone.
