We visited with three people for lunch on a Wednesday and were quickly seated. It was hot and we had to sit at the bar where there was a breeze and cold beverages! Bar service was quick and we decided on the seafood nachos. Food came out quickly and it was hot and fresh prepared. The nachos were tasty but a little short on seafood. Drinks were good and the scenery is awesome. Facility is fairly clean for a beach location.I'll go back when I visit again.Urban CowgillJune 2022

We stopped here on my bachelor party and I really enjoyed myself. The food was amazing and introduced a lot of my friends to southern soul food. The location right on the water is very pretty!

Very disappointing! My shrimp were not de-veined, overly salty, barely lukewarm, and the fries were cold/limp/soggy. The basket wasn't served with any sauce, but when the sauce arrived it didn't really improve anything. I was really hungry, and I didn't even finish the meal--it was so unappetizing. The server was kind and friendly though.

Plenty of open seating, but was put on a waiting list, and then seated immediately. Waited and waited for a server. Flagged one down and she gave us water and menus. Ordered our food, then came back to order drinks. I had ordered a double jack and coke and came in a smaller plastic glass than my wife’s beer. Was never asked for refills as we waited for our food. Anyways, the wait for our food was really long ,food service was slow, but the food was fresh and good except for the soggy fries. I think it’s a great place to have a beer, appetizers, and socialize with a view of the gulf. Better management would definitely help this establishment out.

The wife and I have both been in the restaurant industry growing up. We've been together 17 years, and this was by far the absolute worst experience we've had eating out. When we arrived, my wife had to use the restroom, and while in there, I was holding her purse. Two workers made comments (Hey man, nose purse, and another made a nice comment on my shirt.) I was thinking that this place was amusing and friendly. We found a table and sat for about 10 minutes before the bartender brought us menus and took out drink order. By now we are 2 of the 6 people inside. After our first beverage, more people were arriving (a little after lunch 30.) The waitress recommended the daily special for me (Kicked Chicken sandwich) and my wife had the catfish platter. We continued to order drinks patiently waiting our food arrival, which wouldn't seem to come.......I mean, come on, a sandwich with fries, and catfish with fries, what could take so long. My back was to the bar, but my wife kept seeing all the employees hanging out by the edge of the bar. The waitress checked on us twice in about an hour, no word on food status. Kept being patient, and by the time I was ready to leave, the food came. This is where I lost my cool, that never happens. The catfish platter was 4 nuggets a child would get, cold, greasy, and fries just nasty. My chicken sandwich had no buffalo sauce, 2 pieces of jalapenos, an onion, and soggy fries. I had to get a to go box, but when I tasted a piece of the chicken, we couldn't decide if it were chicken or talapia, both being paper thin. I just left the food there, paid for it all, but just left it. Unimpressed, disappointed, and I HATE wasting money. First time visiting TBT, and I can honestly say this will be my last.May be a great place to drink, but food, in my opinion, is well below par, and won't be planning on returning. Not once did anyone say hello, check on us, or anything, while everyone else is getting apps and food before us, when we showed up before them. Lack of communication, lack of food quality, and lack of customer service.

I rarely put a review but….. Not impressed! Waited 30 minutes for warm beer. Only got one refill of water at the end of meal. Waited an hour for food that was nothing special. Mushrooms were small serving and pitiful looking.. Royal Reds were dry and tacos just didn’t have much taste. Won’t be back.

Service was fine. Good guy and attentive. He can’t be responsible for a bad kitchen or management over seeing the kitchen. Place was not busy which is an indicates problems.

Don’t get me wrong, the food was very good. We just did not have a good experience otherwise. We were there for over two hours. All the tables around us came in after we did and got their food much quicker. Some even ate and paid and left and there we sat, waiting for our food for over an hour. When we questioned our waitress, we received a myriad of excuses. She actually told us it was between the kitchen and the food runners to get our food out and she wasn’t allowed to check on it. Seriously??? Then the food runner told us our order was coming up but was waiting on one burger. Then our burgers finally came out and we were told the mahi tacos were almost ready. We should’ve left or complained to a manager or something but that’s not how we roll. We ate, paid full price for our food and our drinks and left no tip. Our waitress ignored us after she realized we were not happy with waiting well over an hour for our food. Apparently it was all our fault and was no fault of the restaurant.

Nice spot to get a drink and a snack while looking out over the water. Cocktail special was great and you can purchase a souvenir mug with any well drink or beer. Loaded fries were good and the shrimp tacos were tasty.

Only giving one star because I have to. The wait was ridiculous. Hostess did not even explain the wait time. We ordered are food it was nothing special I received the wrong order. Food was extremely salty. It was on my list to try, but I will never go back. Wait staff didn't even come to the table until they gave us the check. When food was brought to us they didn't even give us silverware. ☹️
