Everything was home made and fantastic. We started with the royal red shrimp as an appetizer. Absolutely amazing, perfectly prepared. The beef poboy was very good, loved the gumbo, loaded fries were too good (we ate too much) and the fried oyster salad was excellent. We bought 4 t-shirts and rarely do that. We are chef owners in Dallas, and we are very happy we stopped in. ?
Staff was friendly and helpful, food was amazing and beer was ice cold!
I ordered 2lbs of crawfish and got a lb of peppers and 1lb of crawfish (mostly small). So disappointed. I was craving them.
Established and very popular local restaurant. Some of the best boiled seafood and crawfish on the coast. It's not very big and you may need to wait a bit before getting seated, but it's worth the wait!
Great catfish, some of the best I've ever had. Three good size pieces in the catfish basket for $15.99. The toast was a smashed roll, not good at all. Thank goodness I ordered a side of hushpuppies for the 4 of us. The fries were the coated seasoned type, not my preference but everyone else liked them. I also added two sides of coleslaw for a $1.99 each but they were very small and not cold. I gave the rating a 5 because, the catfish was that good. The resturant is in a nice neighborhood, nothing fancy, but you need reservations unless you order to go ahead of time. There were about 15 people sitting or standing around waiting to go inside. A sweet teenage host told a man needing a reservation for 3, it would be about a 45 minute wait. I was able to get my call order in about a 10 minute wait. Very busy place. I picked up a menu, so enjoy it and the next time you're around Biloxi/Wiggins area, look it up. Best catfish ever and living in Arkansas, that is saying a lot!
This place is awesome! Crawfish platters are delicious! Service is perfect! Thank you guys !!!!Highly recommend for crawfish lovers!
The Mississippi Gulf Coast is a virtual food desert, so we are constantly looking for a good place. (bB's in Ocean Springs closed). Saw the Taranto's recommendation in a recent New Orleans paper. We stopped for a late lunch on a recent return trip from Florida. The out of the way trip yielded nothing special. Average fried seafood--shrimp & oysters. Nondiscript sides and a different gumbo version. I would not go out of my way to eat here again. This is your basic "hole in the wall" joint. T-shirts, flipflops and halter tops are the attire. Still looking for that great place on the Gulf Coast.
Great food!!! Found this little gem through Google search for best seafood restaurant in Biloxi and it lived up to the hype. Huge portions, great tasting shrimp, covered fries are fabulous. Crafish looked amazing.
Worth the drive from the interstate. A quintessential, nondescript restaurant that punches far above it's weight. Packed with locals, so that's the first good sign. Staff are helpful and kind. The food is, well, 5 star. We had the crawfish boil, po'boys, and fried oysters.
Most friendly people including Staff & other diners. First time peeling crawfish & several diners stopped by our table to help by giving us their method to peel them. If there is a wait for a table their is outside staff to get you a cold beverage. Wonderful place!!
