I like places with lots of room and a friendly environment. This is a locals place, no pressure dining, lots of food, great service. We came for breakfast and left full. The food was hot and fresh. Everything was well cooked and presented. Cost was very low considering how much food was served. A great place for breakfast.
Very disappointing. We were in Biloxi Beach for a few days and decided to get something other than fried seafood. This place was recommended, so we ordered TWO orders of hot pot roast poboys, and a chef salad. The sandwiches were okay. Each sandwich was supposed to come with a side (we ordered fries), but the restaurant must have been trying to save money, because they put both sandwiches in one box, and shorted us an order of fries. You look at the picture and tell me that is two orders of fries.I had to use a leftover container for the other sandwich, as we had nothing else to eat out of.The salad was okay. When I asked where was the salad dressing, I was told it was in the box. Got back to the hotel; no salad dressing. The place only had one customer when I came in to pick-up our order, so it was not busy.
Man you talk about good food!!!! Had them cater twice for us. Both times the food was GREAT, and the prices were way too cheap. Couldn't believe all the food that we received for the money we spent. Best home cooking we've had out of a restaurant in many years. Great experience.
Great Cafe atmosphere. If you are wanting a sweet treat grab an order of the beignets. They are delicious, with a light crunch on the outside, no taste of oil and a soft inside. The owner is friendly and very inviting. The amount of 'regulars' prove that this place is delicious. Could not ask for a better staff of servers, they are just as sweet and comforting as the beignets. The breakfast burrito is hearty and filling. Great for those early mornings and to last you through a hard day of work.
I would like to start by saying it tasted ok. The wait was a little bit longer than normal. The fried fish and shrimp were good. Friendly service. They were sold out of a couple of things I wanted. I will give them another try to taste other things. The bisque was good.
Great service very friendly staff. The food was do fresh. My shrimp and fish was fried perfectly. The mash potatoes and gravy were delicious. The gumbo was immaculate packed with flavor and the shrimp and crawfish so tender.
Ordered two shrimp poboys to go. My wife said it was the best shrimp poboy she's had in a long time. The seafood sampler that I ordered, too, was delicious and hit the spot.
My wife and I, for the 2nd time, had to walk out hungry, and find another place to eat. Servers, this oast monday night 3/14/22, were slow, unprofessional, and clueless to the patrons waiting to get their order taken...
We went for breakfast. They were out of grits so we tried the hash browns...kind of looks like broken french fries. The service wasn't great and the food was mediocre.
Of course, this is important if you are a 'pig' !!!!!! The food was pretty good and that is the most important thing. Having said that, the fried pickles were a little salty. We do not use much salt in our cooking so that might have increased the sensation. The food portions were generous. The hamburger was very good as was the muffaletta. We will look forward to returning when we are in the area again.
