Wait time was good and our waitress was nice but our food experience sucked to high heavens ... they brought out tracys ham and cheese omelets and Brees pancakes and then came back 5 mins later with her bacon and I waited 45 mins for my order and when I got it there was no avocado on it and the bacon was so greasy I could not stand to hold it so I put a napkin around it but just could not eat it ...and Tracy never did get side of bacon an hour later ... when we went to pay that's when he found out they had ran out of bacon ...THEY COULD HAVE COME AND TOLD US ...PLUS WE HAD TO USE PLASTIC FORK TO EAT WITH ...I MEAN REALLY COME ON ...... Was REALLY LET DOWN ... but my fries was hot thank Goodness since that was all I could eat ...
This review is truly a tough one to make, with that thought out of the way let me start.IHOP has always been a go-to restaurant for the ages and this one is really showing it's age. It is a tiny, cramp and not well designed for the staff. Now about the staff....give them a round of applause because they really do deserve it. They have to be the shortest staff restaurant ever. 3 service folks for approximately 40 tables and every table was full...the A/C was not cranking out the cooling need to keep up with the crowd and the service folks were drenched in sweat ( sounds nasty but the were hustling to keep up with demand) cooks were moving at a speed that was well just short of stupendous. Cook tops and no A/C is just wrong. The manager and table guy were doing there best to clear and clean tables as fast as possible. Now the food....it was mediocre at best. Pancakes were flat and coffee was horrible, I hate giving that review of the food but it is what it was. I live down the street and will not be going there anytime soon.
So me and my friends went to ihop tonight, and when we came it is kinda packed. The nice waitress (Cecelia) came in and bought us to our table. NO COMPLAINTS FOR HER AT ALL SHE DID HER JOB!! Now, the food, it was incorrect. My friend’s order was messed up. My hash browns were cold and the onions was just thrown on there and not cooked at all. Do not recommend. Even if it was packed and low staffed, food should always ALWAYS be taken with care.
Awesome service! I server Amy was amazing! And we were a party of seven. She didn't miss a beat. Our food was served quickly, piping hot and our order was correct.
This review is directly because of the service, not the food. The food was good and came out quickly. Great job to the cooks and BOH staff, 5 stars on food! The host who sat us was nice and friendly. Our server didn't give us any service, he took our order correctly and that's about it. Our drinks ran empty twice and he didn't check on us.He came to the table a total of 4 times. Once to take the order, once to drop our food and refill drinks that were completely empty, once to drop the check while we were still eating with empty drinks again, and the final time to come get the receipt to collect his tips. We weren't done eating and our drinks were empty but he wanted payment. He wasn't rude but just severely under trained. He had 2 tables that were both 2 tops, he wasn't busy because he had time to sweep floors instead of checking on the level of beverage that was nonexistent in our glasses. I lost my appetite and could not finish my food because of the audacity this guy had asking for the signed copy of the check when I was still trying to chalk down pancakes with nothing to wash it down. To the server - next time check on your tables, you never know how generous people can be especially on a holiday. You definitely missed an opportunity to make a 100% tip.
Upon entering we were greeted in a unremarkable manner and that experience only continued. We were told we could sit wherever we'd like but upon walking around the restaurant it was hard to find a clean table to actually sit at. Upon sitting and looking around while waiting for our drinks it was even more apparent cleanliness was not a priority as there was uncleared tables, food debris on almost every tabletop, bench, and floor area that was visible. We ordered an appetizer and meal which arrived almost simultaneously we were never given silverware, napkins, and had to ask for these items. We had to ask for the dipping sauces for the appetizer and for one of the meals that was supposed to be served with a sauce. However, when asked for the sauce that was to be provided with the meal the waiter stated is it supposed to come with that to which I replied well it's listed on the menu and was told he had never heard of that. After eating I had to ask another waitress for a to go box as our waiter never to came back to the table other than to provide us with the bill. Overall it was a very poor experience except for the food itself which was good so kudos to the kitchen staff.
First I want to start by saying I asked them to replace my hash brown with bacon and he brought me hasbrown and when I complained all he did was take away the hash browns and didn’t replace it . Then I asked for chocolate chip pancake nd it was chocolate pancakes with chocolate chip then they didn’t give me my sauce with my omelet my mom ordered and the little things on the side smelled spoiled .
A guy I think was the manager was very rude to my mom and I. He was snapping at us and cutting us off when we were being polite. We had just brought up our checks to pay up front because the waitress gave us our checks and didn't come back for over 20 minutes. We thought we were supposed to pay up front. The only reason it's getting two stars instead of one is because our waitress was friendly and professional
