Atmosphere and food was great. Heather was the best .Friendly and professional. Kept our drinks and belly's full. We will be back.
We went to the Half Shell in the Hard Rock yesterday to get some chargrilled oysters and have never been so disappointed in a meal in a long time. The oysters were horrible, dry, no garlic butter in any of the shells, two small, measly pieces of bread (nothing to sop up anyway), oysters were tiny. At 24.00 a dozen you would expect nicely grilled oysters with plenty of dipping butter. Nope. Horrible. Then, we asked for more bread and some regular butter and she brought two more measly little pieces of dry toasted bread with 3 little plastic packets of butter like on a buffet line. We then asked the waitress if the blackened fish was enough for two people to split and she said yes. But it wasnt. It was meager and unspectacular. It tasted okay but she knew we were splitting it and the salad and she brought both without a spare plate and I ended up eating mine on a tiny saucer that she brought the tiny bread on. It was so awful. In Gulfport if you get the oysters they are prepared in the room on a huge grill, which is part of the experience. They are covered in delicious garlic butter which is the whole point. Also, I got so many shells while trying to eat them that it was nearly a trip to the dentist at least 4 times through the meal. I would have given it zero as a dining experience if I could but one is as low as you can give. I will NEVER go back. The people around us were complaining, too. If you are expecting a nice, rather fine dining experience dont go here. It's expensive too for meager food. We eat everywhere and it's a hobby of ours but never again here.

Ty and Shelby were both awesome, the oysters were huge and delicious. Try the sampler and ask for the chef special Ty's way if you can. The dynamite lobster was excellent as was the rest of our brunch. The bloody Mary vodka is infused for a week with all the good stuff. Place was so good we came two days in a row and you should too!!
We went to their hard rock casino location and it was fantastic. We get to sit in the private area which is sometimes used for private parties overlooking the waterfront. Excellent food quality and courteous staff. Tried the oyster sampler and it was a hit.
Fabulous as usual. Great for smaller portion lunch appetites. Atmosphere is appealing ~ our Server was Connie & she was genuinely southern hospitality.Always ~ always a winner with our family.

Half Shell Oyster House is a must when in Biloxi. They have amazing food traditional to the area and excellent sushi. “Royal Reds” are authentic, not pink Argentinian shrimp trying to be something else. As a northerner I grew up thinking grits were gross. Their grits were on of the best things I’ve ever eaten and pair well with the Shrimp Orleans. Also order the sweet potatoes, yum!
Extremely friendly staff! located inside of hard Rock, very cool walk up to restaurant. The food was amazing seafood pasta was perfect fried green tomatoes were to die for. Our server was very friendly and waited on our table of eight like it was a table of one! 10 out of 10 recommend.
