I highly recommend Half Shell Gulfport. We had the sweetest waiter (Vincent), the service was great and so was the food. I definitely recommend the Gulfport location over the Biloxi location. The last few times we were very disappointed with the Biloxi location but the Gulfport location was on point. Will definitely be back.
Half Shell is always a favorite, but tonight the experience was so much greater. We had the pleasure of meeting Flash tonight. He was such an amazing waiter with such a great personality. He kept us smiling and laughing the entire night. He was VERY attentive and witty. ? He definitely made our night! The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious as always!

The chargrilled oysters are to die for..... we get them every time!! Great drinks - strawberry basil mojito and the Caribbean Long Island are addictive. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Our most recent visit and we got the ahi tuna tostada appetizer and it was GREAT!!
For a wonderful dining experience in Biloxi this is the place to go to. The wait was less than 10 minutes to be seated. The staff was very friendly and were able to answer all our questions about the menu. The appetizer was delicious and very flavorful. The main dishes were all piping hot when delivered to our table. The fish and seafood was fresh and delicious, the chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the sides were perfect. Overall it couldn't have been a better experience. The wait staff kept the drinks full and the bathrooms were very clean. The dining on the second floor was very nice. I can't wait to eat here again it is well worth the price!
Went here, had heard it was okay, but it was excellent, the staff was on point! Friendly, fast, and the food was excellent!! Tried a couple apps, crab dip, oysters, and a special of tostada with ahi tuna and it was delicious!!!!! Got the mahi for dinner, redfish, fried shrimp, couole kids meals!! And it was just fantastic and reasonable priced!!
If you want a true taste of Biloxi, you have to eat here. Located in a historic building with a perfect atmosphere for authentic food. The staff are very friendly and work quickly to get everyone seated. This is a popular place, so you may have to wait. Excellent seafood! There isn't a bad item on the menu. Food arrived perfectly cooked and hot. No rush, we took our time and enjoyed every bit.
So, as we were driving by on a Sunday evening, looking for a place to eat, we saw a restaurant sign and an arrow pointing towards city hall. We turned off the main road and found a few places. We decided on this place once we saw the reviews. It looked busy. People were sitting outside like they were waiting for a table. We walked in and were immediately shown towards a table on the second floor. We had a huge table with a view. Our waiter came over immediately after we sat down. Auston was awesome. He provided Great recommendations, had a great attitude and was very nice. Everything on the menu sounded good. We started with an old reliable, Crab cakes. We also ordered the main dish of Royal Red and Shrimp and Grits w/ Bacon. We also got the hush puppies. We got our crab cakes and they were really good. Little bits of lump and good filler. They were awesome. The Royal Red arrived as we finished the appetizer. Holy cow. 1 pound of HUGE shrimp. You have to peel and devain the shrimp so be aware. When you finish cleaning the shrimp and take your first bite, wow. The flavor was as good as any spiney Lobster I've ever had. Sweet and soft, not chewy, Shrimp / Lobster meat. I got my shrimp and grits. Again, big plate of food, so come hungry. The dish was very flavourful and really filling. I barely had enough room to have a piece of my wife's shrimp. We were totally full and so happy that we found this, off the main road, restaurant. This is not just an oyster bar. This is probably one of the best restaurants in this town. This is definitely a place you bring a date, friends and/ or family, for a great meal. I highly recommend.
Jessie H was our server last night and she was so delightful. The seafood pasta and grilled redfish with the mashed potatoes were all superb. My husband loved the Grilled Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita. Every time we come through Biloxi we make it a point to eat here. Now please, open one in Victoria,TX!!!
We ate here many year ago and really enjoyed it, so while we were stopping over in Biloxi decided to return. It was just as good. Actually made it worth our while to stop in Biloxi. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food is delicious and service fast and friendly.
